CATHERINE THE GREAT (HBO) - Joseph Quinn is in talks to join Helen Mirren and Jason Clarke in the upcoming limited series as Catherine's son and heir, Prince Paul. (Deadline.com)
CHI, THE (Showtime) - Joseph C. Wilson has joined the series as a co-executive producer as part of an overall deal with Fox 21 Television Studios. (Deadline.com)
DOOM PATROL (DC) - Joivan Wade has been cast as the small screen incarnation of Victor Stone (aka Cyborg) in the upcoming series. (@TheDCUniverse)
FLASH, THE (The CW) - Kiana Madeira will recur on the series as DC Comics villain Spencer Young (aka Spin). The gender swapped incarnation sees Young as "a young aspiring social media influencer who seizes the opportunity to make herself famous when she discovers there is a new hero in Central City." GOOD TROUBLE (Freeform) - Hayden Byerly will reprise his role as Jude in an upcoming episodes of "The Fosters" spin-off. No details about his appearance were given. (Deadline.com)
HANDMAID'S TALE, THE (Hulu) - Co-executive producer Eric Tuchman has inked an overall deal with MGM Television, home to the Emmy-winning drama. As part of the pact, he'll be promoted to executive producer as well as develop new series projects for the studio. (THR.com)
HOT ZONE, THE (NGC) - Kelly Souders and Brian Peterson have likewise signed a two-year overall deal with Fox 21 Television Studios where they'll serve as showrunners of the Julianna Margulies-led series at National Geographic Channel. (Deadline.com)
UNBELIEVABLE (Netflix) - Kai Lennox, Dale Dickey, Austin Hébert and Omar Maskati have all been cast in the limited series, which also stars Toni Collette, Merritt Wever, Kaitlyn Dever and Danielle MacDonald. No specifics about their characters were given. (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED ROB MCELHENNEY PROJECT (Apple, New!) - Rob McElhenney is attached to star in a new cutting-edge comedy at the company "set in a video game development studio and will explore the intricacies of the human condition through hilarious and innovative ways." McElhenney and his RCG partner Charlie Day are co-writing the project, which has a straight-to-series order. 3 Arts Entertainment's Michael Rotenberg and Nicholas Frenkel and Ubisoft's Gérard Guillemot, Jason Altman and Danielle Kreinik will also executive produce for Lionsgate TV.
