LA --> VEGAS (FOX) - "Modern Family" co-creator Steve Levitan has signed on to direct and executive produce the comedy pilot, about a group of underdogs trying to find their place in the world, set on the Friday night flight from LAX to Vegas and the returning flight on Sunday, who all share the same goal: to come back a winner in the casino of life. (Deadline.com)
LOSING IT (ABC) - Natalie Morales ("The Grinder") has been tapped for a role on the comedy pilot, about three misfit adult siblings and their parents who - between divorce, new parenthood, early-onset dementia and let's just say life - are all losing it in different ways. SCALPED (WGN America) - Lily Gladstone is the first to be cast in the drama pilot, based on the Vertigo comics title of the same name, as Carol Red Crow, "the estranged daughter of Chief Red Crow. Fiercely independent and intelligent, Carol gradually comes to discover the influence she can play on the Rez's future." (Variety.com)
