CRIMINAL MAGIC (The CW, New!) - Graham Norris ("iZombie") has sold a new drama to the netlet about "two warring street gangs who fight the cops and each other to corner the market on the most lucrative contraband of all: magic. A young woman hiding spectacular magical powers and an undercover cop must try to survive this glamorous world of speakeasies, crime and danger." Rob Thomas, Danielle Stokdyk and Dan Etheridge are also on board to executive produce via their Warner Bros. Television-based Spondoolie Productions. (Deadline.com)
ENCORE (CBS, New!) - Doug Ellin ("Entourage") is set to team with Nick Lachey and Donnie Wahlberg for a single-camera comedy at the Eye that would draw on the latter duo's experience as ex members of popular boy bands. CBS Television Studios is behind the half-hour, about "former boy band members who reunite 20 years later," with Halyard Park's Ellin; the Tannenbaum Co.'s Eric and Kim Tannenbaum; Wahlberg, Lachey and Jonathan Baruch executive producing and Andrew Moncrief as a producer. FIRST WIVES CLUB, THE (TV Land) - The cable channel has passed on the much-ballyhooed comedy pilot, a small screen take on the 1996 film with Alyson Hannigan, Megan Hilty and Vanessa Lachey in the lead roles. (Deadline.com)

ODD COUPLE, THE (CBS) - Jessica Walter ("Arrested Development") has been cast as the mother of Thomas Lennon's Felix Unger. In said installment, "Meredith is unable to host Christmas, so Felix goes into a frenzy to prepare the Unger Family Christmas traditions, but Oscar worries that Felix may buckle under the pressure." PASSAGE, THE (FOX, New!) - Writer Liz Heldens and director Matt Reeves are set to team for a small screen take on Justin Cronin's fantasy book trilogy which "begins as a character-driven government conspiracy thriller and morphs into a post-apocalyptic saga with vampires." Adam Kassan of 6th & Idaho and Ridley Scott and David W. Zucker of Scott Free Productions will also executive produce for 20th Century Fox Television with Cronin receiving a co-producer credit. PECOS (ABC, New!) - Oscar-winner Shawn Christensen (Curfew) is developing a limited series at the Alphabet "inspired by the true story of a 29-year-old rookie journalist who takes down one of the richest, most powerful men in Texas, proving his gigantic business empire is a complete fraud, in 1962 Pecos, Texas." Citizen Media's Paul Wesley and Bob Levy are executive producing the ABC Signature-based project alongside Robert Redford and Laura Michalchyshyn of Sundance Productions. (Deadline.com)
SHANGHAI SUMMER (Freeform, New!) - Oanh Ly ("The Catch") has sold a new drama to the cable channel about "20-something Americans pursuing their dreams in Shanghai, China." Citizen Media's Paul Wesley and Bob Levy will also serve as executive producers. (Deadline.com)
STEVE HARVEY (Syndication) - NBCUniversal Domestic Television will wrap the current incarnation of the series after five seasons. A new edition is slated to launch in September with a new producing partner, IMG, taking over for EndemolShine North America. Taping will also transition from Chicago to Los Angeles with Harvey also receiving ownership and creative control of the new series. (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED ANDY PARKER PROJECT (CBS, New!) - Andy Parker ("Stanistan") has booked a new drama at the Eye which "centers on a U.S. senator who withdraws from office in the wake of a life-changing crisis to join his brother's private investigation law firm, unearthing the truth in high-profile and top-secret cases, wherever that truth may lead." Frank Marshall and Robert Zotnowski will also executive produce for the CBS Television Studios-based Kennedy/Marshall Company. (Deadline.com)
