Gifted with not only an immunity to vampires, Vanessa is also capable of taking out her bloodthirsty foes by turning them into humans with her bite. Now both prey and predator, Vanessa sinks her teeth into her role as humanity's leader - and secret weapon - in their resistance against the vampires that plagued their world.

An original co-production, VAN HELSING is produced by Nomadic Pictures, which also serves as the studio. Executive producers are Chad Oakes & Mike Frislev from Nomadic Pictures, showrunner/writer Neil LaBute, Simon Barry ("Continuum"), Evan Tyler (Industry Works), Dave Brown and Zadoc Angell (Echo Lake Entertainment), as well as Daniel March (Dynamic Television). ABOUT 'CHANNEL ZERO: CANDLE COVE':

Premieres Tuesday, September 27 at 9/8c

The original anthology series CHANNEL ZERO is set to debut on Syfy with the first six-part installment Candle Cove. The second, yet-to-be-announced six episode season of CHANNEL ZERO will premiere on Syfy in 2017. Based on an unnerving tale written by Kris Straub that gained notoriety online as a "creepypasta" (user-generated horror stories that are published and passed around the internet), Candle Cove centers on one man's obsessive recollections of a mysterious children's television program from the 1980s - and his ever-growing suspicions about the role it might have played in a series of nightmarish and deadly events from his childhood. From Universal Cable Productions, Channel Zero: Candle Cove is from showrunner and executive producer Nick Antosca ("Hannibal," "Teen Wolf"), who wrote the CHANNEL ZERO pilot, and Max Landis ("Chronicle," "American Ultra").

ABOUT 'AFTERMATH':

Premieres Tuesday, September 27 at 10/9c

AFTERMATH, a new 13-episode original co-production, is produced by Halfire Entertainment in association with Syfy and Space. AFTERMATH centers on one family - Karen (Anne Heche, "Hung," "Men in Trees") and Joshua Copeland (James Tupper, "Revenge," Grey's Anatomy") and their children. The Copelands battle for survival after civilization comes to an apocalyptic end -- and they are faced not only with plague - but the rise of supernatural creatures. Universal Cable Productions has international distribution.
