SNOOP DOGG TO EXECUTIVE PRODUCE, PERFORM THEME SONG FOR MTV'S NEW COMEDY "MARY + JANE"

"MARY + JANE" AND "LOOSELY EXACTLY NICOLE" STARRING NICOLE BYER PREMIERE MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 5 AT 10:00 P.M. ET/PT ON MTV

Beverly Hills, CA - July 31, 2016 - MTV today unveiled an all-new Monday night female comedy lineup - including half-hour scripted series "Mary + Jane" and "Loosely Exactly Nicole" - set to debut Monday, September 5 at 10:00 p.m. "Loosely Exactly Nicole" stars actress and comedian Nicole Byer ("Girl Code") as a not-so-highly fictionalized version of herself. From Executive Producers Deborah Kaplan and Harry Elfont, Entertainment 360, "Mary + Jane" follows the adventures of two twenty-something "ganjapreneurs" growing a business in L.A. Entertainment icon Snoop Dogg, who wrote and performs the series' theme song and his production company, MERRY JANE have joined as Executive Producers.

The announcement was made today by Michael Klein, MTV's Executive Vice President of Original Content, at its Summer 2016 Television Critics Association presentation in Beverly Hills. Klein also previewed upcoming docu-series "Unlocking the Truth" and weekly live music performance series "Wonderland".

"Mary + Jane" premiering Monday, September 5th at 10:00 p.m.

From writing/directing team and executive producers Deborah Kaplan and Harry Elfont ("Can't Hardly Wait"), Entertainment 360 ("Game of Thrones") and MERRY JANE (a premier cannabis media platform) comes MTV's single camera, half-hour comedy about Jordan (Scout Durwood) and Paige (Jessica Rothe), two twenty-something best friends who run an all-female weed delivery service in Los Angeles. Filled with funny, raw and bizarre adventures, the show explores the uncharted territory as Los Angeles comes out of the Green Closet and gets into high and higher times.

"Mary + Jane" is executive produced by Deborah Kaplan and Harry Elfont ("Can't Hardly Wait"). Entertainment 360's Guymon Casady ("Game of Thrones") Marcus Blakely and Jill McElroy serve as executive producers. Snoop Dogg and Ted Chung from MERRY JANE (MERRYJANE.com) serve as executive producers.

"Loosely Exactly Nicole" premiering Monday, September 5th at 10:30 p.m.

Nicole Byer is living the Hollywood dream. Well, Hollywood adjacent - the deep valley to be precise - and it's not so much a dream but a struggle. In "Loosely Exactly Nicole," viewers will watch as Nicole, exuding her special brand of confidence and irreverence, demonstrates the hilarious missteps of what it means to be out on your own for the first time. With the help of her two besties, Veronica and Devin, Nicole will have to navigate the "real world" as she endures humiliating auditions, unpaid electric bills and the romantic battlefield that is Tinder, all while slowly, but surely, finding her voice as a comedian.

"Loosely Exactly Nicole" is executive produced and created by Christine Zander ("Third Rock From the Sun," Saturday Night Live") and Christian Lander ("Stuff White People Like"). Avi Gilbert is an Executive Producer.
