CATCH, THE (ABC) - T.R. Knight ("Grey's Anatomy") has joined the cast for its second season in a recurring role. Details about his character however are being kept under wraps. (Deadline.com)
CRAZY EX-GIRLFRIEND (The CW) - Parvesh Cheena ("A to Z") is set to recur on the series as Sunil, "who is a single dad in town who befriends Paula (Donna Lynne Champlin) and they discover they have many dreams and challenges in common." (Deadline.com)
HUNCH (CBS, New!) - Chris Murphey ("Body of Proof") has scored a "put pilot commitment with penalty" for a new drama about "a LAPD detective who begrudgingly teams up with a celebrity psychic who, unfortunately, is also his ex-wife." EuropaCorp TV Studios and CBS Television Studios are behind the hour with Matthew Gross, Edouard de Vesinne and Thomas Anargyros also serving as executive producers. (Deadline.com)
REIGN (The CW) - Adam Croasdell is bound for the new season as Bothwell, "Queen Mary's third husband, a warm hearted bad-boy ("Rhett" to her "Scarlett") who is deeply loyal, and ultimately deeply in love with Mary Queen of Scots." (Deadline.com)
SON, THE (AMC) - Elizabeth Frances, J. Quinton Johnson and Nick Stevenson are all bound for the upcoming drama as Prairie Flower, "a member of the Comanche tribe and Eli's first love"; Neptune, "the McCullough's trusted ranch hand who is fiercely loyal to Eli McCullough (Pierce Brosnan)"; and Fred Bernhauer, "a handsome, powerful businessman interested in the oil prospects of the McCulloughs," respectively. UNTITLED TARA LIPINSKI PROJECT (Hulu, New!) - Gold medalist Tara Lipinski is developing a new drama at the streaming service "offering a behind-the-scenes look at the intense world of figure skating" and centers on "a group of women and men in their teens and 20s who sacrifice normal life for that sweepstakes shot at immortality that comes around every four years in front of a global audience." Jonathan Igla ("Pitch") is penning the script with Michael Shamberg and Alexandra Zimbler likewise executive producing for MAS Production. (Deadline.com)
