#GIRLBOSS (Netflix, New!) - Sophia Amoruso's popular autobiography - about her "rags-to-riches story from dumpster-diving and selling vintage clothes on eBay through her Nasty Gal Vintage label to building a L.A.-headquartered multi-million dollar fashion empire by the age of 27" - is being developed as a comedy series by the streaming service. Kay Cannon will pen the pilot with Amoruso, Denver & Delilah's Charlize Theron, Beth Kono and Laverne McKinnon also serving as executive producers. (Variety.com)

CARAOKE SHOWDOWN (Spike TV, New!) - Craig Robinson is set to host a half-hour special/backdoor pilot at the cable channel featuring "Robinson picking up unsuspecting contestants who realize they are on a karaoke-inspired game show. During various rounds of game play, contestants must belt out their favorite tunes, finish the lyrics or act out songs for cash." Core Media and Alevy Productions' Howie Mandel and Mike Marks are the executive producers. (THR.com)

FOUR STARS (CBS, New!) - Writer Becky Mode and director R.J. Cutler have landed a pilot commitment from the Eye for a new drama which "centers on two powerful rival families in the military community of Tampa, Florida who make decisions at the highest levels in the interest of national security." CBS Television Studios-based Timberman/Beverly Productions is behind the hour with the company's Sarah Timberman and Carl Beverly likewise executive producing. (Deadline.com)

INTERESTINGS, THE (Amazon/TriStar; W: Lyn Greene & Richard Levine; D: Mike Newell) - Jessica Collins and Corey Cott have both landed roles on the drama pilot, based on Meg Wolitzer's bestselling book about a group of friends who meet at an arts camp when they're 15 in 1974 and their relationships throughout the next three decades. She'll play Cathy, "a very stylish and attractive woman, immaculately coiffed and svelte"; while Cott is set as Jonah, "a gay, former musician who now designs tech innovations for the disabled." Gabriel Ebert also stars. (Deadline.com)

MY TIME/YOUR TIME (CBS/CTS/Sony; W: Hilary Winston; D: Pamela Fryman) - Jane Levy ("Suburgatory") has been tapped for a lead role on the Carter Bays and Craig Thomas-produced comedy pilot, which chronicles the relationship of a young couple as they begin dating long distance. She'll play half of the couple, Marly, "an inherent optimist living in New York City who wants to be a playwright but is having trouble breaking away from a traditional life for the life of an artist." In addition, Pamela Fryman has signed on to direct and executive produce the project. (Deadline.com)

UNTITLED LAURA STEINEL PROJECT (FOX, New!) - Writer Laura Steinel and director Jeff Schaffer have scored a pilot order from the network for a new half-hour workplace comedy that centers around Jane, who is caught between trying to manage her charmingly incompetent human resources department and a new eccentric CEO who dreams of bringing the New Jersey plastics plant into the future. Schaffer and Naegle Ink's Sue Naegle are executive producing the single-camera project for 20th Century Fox Television with Steinel serving as a co-executive producer.

AND IN OTHER NEWS... - Matt Czuchry will reprise his role of Logan Huntzberger on Netflix's "Gilmore Girls" revival (TVLine.com); Dougray Scott will recur on "Fear the Walking Dead" in a yet-to-be-confirmed role (TVLine.com); and Ricardo Chavira has scored an arc on "Scandal," likewise in a top secret capacity (EW.com).
