AMERICAN GOTHIC (CBS/CBSP; W: Corinne Brinkerhoff; D: TBA) - Antony Starr ("Banshee") has signed onto the cast of the upcoming drama, which centers on a prominent Boston family that is attempting to redefine itself in the wake of a chilling discovery that links their recently deceased patriarch to a string of murders spanning decades, amid the mounting suspicion that one of them may have been his accomplice. He'll play Garrett, "the firstborn son of a prominent Boston political family. He inexplicably left town 17 years ago and returns home at the news of his father's heart attack." Justin Chatwin and Megan Ketch also star. (Deadline.com)

HARLEY AND THE DAVIDSONS (Discovery/Raw TV; W: Evan Wright & Seth Fisher; D: Ciàran Donnell) - Michiel Huisman, Robert Aramayo and Bug Hall are the first to be cast in the three-night, six-hour mini-series, which tells the epic story of how two 19-year-old kids from Milwaukee started a company in their backyard that would go on to become an American legend. Huisman will play Walter Davidson with Aramayo as William Harley and Hall as Arthur Davidson. Evan Wright and Seth Fisher penned the project with Ciàran Donnelly helming the opening installment. JURY, THE (ABC/Sony; W: Mark Bianculli & V.J. Boyd; D: TBA) - The drama - which follows a single murder trial a season as seen through the eyes of the individual jurors, exploring the biases and experiences that influence the jurors' judgment, and how their preconceptions change along the way - has been ordered to pilot by the Alphabet. UNTITLED MATT HUBBARD PROJECT (NBC/Universal; W: Matt Hubbard; D: TBA) - The comedy script - about Andrew and Josie, a happily married interracial couple whose lives take a turn when they move close to Josie's family in Missouri - has been greenlit to produce a pilot. WILL (TNT; W: Craig Pearce; D: Shekhar Kapur) - Newcomer Laurie Davidson has scored the title role on the drama pilot, which tells the wild story of young William Shakespeare's arrival onto the punk rock theater scene that was 16th century London - the seductive, violent world where his raw talent faced rioting audiences, religious fanatics and raucous side-shows. Shekhar Kapur (Elizabeth) has likewise signed on to direct the hour while Vince Gerardis, Howard Braunstein and Louise Rosager are among the executive producers. (Deadline.com)

AND IN OTHER NEWS... - HBO is reportedly in talks to commission two additional seasons of its flagship drama "Game of Thrones," taking it through its eighth season (Deadline.com); TNT's veteran drama "Rizzoli & Isles" will sign off following its upcoming 13-episode seventh season (Deadline.com); HBO has given "Deadwood" creator David Milch "the green light to resurrect the acclaimed yet painfully short-lived Western" (TVLine.com); TNT has passed on its Aron Eli Coleite-penned drama pilot "Home" while fellow entry "Robbers" has stalled out in the casting process and the DC Comics-based "Titans" won't be moving past the script stage (Deadline.com);
