NEW YORK, August 26, 2014 - Comedy Central continues to reign supreme in the Variety Series categories. The #1 brand in comedy received three awards during the 2013-2014 Primetime Emmy(R) Awards competition, as awarded by the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (ATAS), including "The Colbert Report" for the second consecutive year earning Emmys for Outstanding Variety Series and Outstanding Writing for a Variety Series.
