A TO Z (NBC/Warner Bros.; W: Ben Queen; D: TBA) - Ben Feldman and Leonora Crichlow are the latest to board the comedy pilot, about the relationship between a young couple, Andrew and Zelda (Cristin Milioti), from meeting to breakup. Feldman will play the aforementioned Andrew, "an optimist, a smart, sarcastic guy's guy who, despite his love of sports and action movies, is a closet romantic and believes in the one - now he just needs to find her." Crichlow then is set as Stephie, "Zelda's roommate and co-worker." Henry Zebrowski also stars. (Deadline.com)


AGATHA (ABC/ABC Studios; W: Tom Donaghy; D: Jace Alexander) - Erik Palladino ("NCIS: Los Angeles") has been cast in the drama pilot, about Agatha McAuliffe (yet to be cast), a former convict turned big city criminologist who is brought in to help local police - including her estranged chief detective father - crack a case involving a perplexing disappearance. He'll play Captain Benjamin Cooper, "the admired and well-respected head of Philadelphia's Major Crimes division." Jee Young Han and Meta Golding also star. (Deadline.com)


HOW I MET YOUR DAD (CBS/20th; W: Carter Bays, Craig Thomas & Emily Spivey; D: Pamela Fryman) - Newcomer Drew Tarver has joined the cast of the comedy pilot, which "tells the story from a female point of view, that of Sally (Greta Gerwig), and revolves around a new group of friends in New York." He'll play Todd, "Sally's best friend and roommate from college who is now married to her brother." (Deadline.com)


HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER (ABC/ABC Studios; W: Peter Nowalk; D: Michael Offer) - Oscar-nominee Viola Davis (The Help) has signed on for the lead role in the Shonda Rhimes-produced drama pilot, about a group of ambitious law students and their brilliant, mysterious criminal defense professor, Annalise Dewitt, who become entangled in a murder plot that will rock their entire university and change the course of their lives. She'll play the aforementioned Annalise Dewitt in the project, which also stars Aja Naomi King, Alfred Enoch, Charlie Weber, Jack Falahee, Karla Souza and Matt McGorry. (Deadline.com)


IZOMBIE (The CW/Warner Bros.; W: Diane Ruggiero & Rob Thomas; D: TBA) - Malcolm Goodwin, Alexandra Krosney and David Anders are the first to be cast in the drama pilot, about Olivia "Liv" Moore, "a med student-turned-zombie who takes a job in the coroner's office to gain access to the brains she must reluctantly eat to maintain her humanity, but with each brain she consumes, she inherits the corpse's memories." Krosney will play Peyton Charles, her best friend, roommate and former cohort in all things Type A. Anders then is set as Blaine DeBeers, an entitled, rich kid who uses his zombie powers for self-gain; with Goodwin as Clive Babinaux, a homicide detective who's dubious at first about Liv's "psychic" powers but begins to take her seriously. LIFESAVER (NBC/Universal; W: Wil Calhoun; D: TBA) - Lindsay Price ("Hawaii Five-0") has been tapped for a role on the comedy pilot, about two polar opposites - the uptight, neurotic Graham Parmenter (Christian Borle) and the energetic, large personality Leon Barrow (Jonathan Ryland) - who become inextricably linked after the latter saves the former's life by giving him a kidney. She'll play Jennifer Maguire, "Graham's girlfriend and a doctor at the hospital with him and doesn't mind Leon in the way that Graham does." (Deadline.com)


MADAM SECRETARY (CBS/CTS; W: Barbara Hall; D: David Semel) - Geoffrey Arend ("Body of Proof") has scored a role on the drama pilot, about the personal and professional life of maverick Secretary of State Elizabeth Faulkner McGill (Tea Leoni) as she drives international diplomacy, wrangles office politics and balances a complex family life. He'll play Matt Mahoney, her speechwriter. Tim Daly also stars. (Deadline.com)


MANHATTAN (WGN America/Lionsgate; W: Sam Shaw; D: Thomas Schlamme) - Alexia Fast (Jack Reacher) has landed a role on the upcoming drama, which follows the brilliant but flawed scientists - on mission to build the world's first atomic bomb in Los Alamos, New Mexico - and their families as they attempt to co-exist in a world where secrets and lies infiltrate every aspect of their lives. She'll play Callie Winter, "the 16-year-old somewhat sharp-tongued daughter of Liza (Olivia Williams) and Frank (John Benjamin Hickey), whom she needles about his frequent, secretive absences from home for his work." Ashley Zukerman, Christopher Denham, Daniel Stern, Harry Lloyd, Katja Herbers and Rachel Brosnahan also star. (Deadline.com)


NAVY ST. (DirecTV/Endemol; W: Byron Balasco; D: TBA) - Matt Lauria ("Parenthood") has landed a role on the upcoming series, "a gritty family drama set against the backdrop of a mixed martial arts (MMA) gym in Venice, California." He'll play Ryan Revis, "a world class athlete and UFC light heavyweight champion who is returning to the gym that made him a star from time in prison." Frank Grillo, Nick Jonas, Jonathan Tucker and Kiele Sanchez also star. (TVLine.com)


ODD COUPLE, THE (CBS/CTS; W: Joe Keenan & Matthew Perry; D: TBA) - Matthew Perry's updated take on Neil Simon's classic play - about two mismatched roommates, the messy Oscar Madison and the neat freak Felix Unger - has landed a pilot order at the network. Perry co-wrote the half-hour alongside Joe Keenan, who's succeeding Danny Jacobson, and is attached to play Oscar. The multi-camera project comes from CBS Television Studios with Carl Beverly, Sarah Timberman, Eric Tannenbaum and Kim Tannenbaum also among the executive producers. (Deadline.com)


PRO, THE (NBC/ABC Studios/Universal; W: Alex Gregory & Pete Huyck; D: Todd Holland) - Andrea Savage (Dinner for Schmucks) has been cast in the comedy pilot, about Ben Bertrahm (Rob Lowe), a former doubles champion who is reunited with his ex-partner Bobby Welch (Rob Riggle) after a public feud that left them both floundering in life. She'll play Paula, "the Club manager, who is in way over her head and has a wee little crush on Big Ben." Colton Dunn and Rosa Salazar also star. (Deadline.com)


PROOF (TNT; W: Rob Bragin; D: Alex Graves) - Callum Blue ("Royal Pains") has scored a role on the drama pilot, about Katherine Russo (yet to be cast), a skeptical, hard science, female surgeon who is persuaded to investigate cases of reincarnation, out-of-body experiences, hauntings to find verifiable proof whether death truly is the end. He'll play Peter Van Owen, "a charming, a best-selling author who claims to be a psychic medium." Caroline Rose Kaplan and Edi Gathegi also star. (Deadline.com)


SALVATION (NBC/Universal; W: Liz Heldens; D: Jeffrey Reiner) - Ashley Judd, Stark Sands, Meg Steedle, Emma Dumont and Jake Picking have all been cast in the drama pilot, a family saga set against the backdrop of a Texas mega church where faith, family and corruption are explored in equal measure. Judd will play Jennifer Strickland, who must rally to keep her family together and save their church after her pastor husband suddenly dies. Sands then is set as her eldest son Paul, "the heir apparent to Daniel's evangelical empire who suffers from a chronic stutter and might have played a role in his dad's death"; with Steedle as eldest daughter Lilly Bishop, "who is married to a Congressman and pregnant with her third child"; Picking as Jennifer's teenage son Noah, who's gorgeous, athletic and good-natured; and Dumont as his twin sister Natalie, who's awkward, an emo tomboy with a sweet, smart-alecky disposition. SEA OF FIRE (ABC/Sony; W: Jenna Bans; D: Allison Liddi-Brown) - Michael Trucco ("Killer Women") is the latest addition to the drama pilot, which chronicles the fallout from three teenage girls starring in a pornographic film, an event that tears their families apart and leads to a disappearance and a murder in their small town of Serenity Falls. He'll play Pete Harper, "a former high school football star who now runs a real estate development company." Christina Chang also stars as his wife Kristen with Kevin G. Schmidt and Zoe Soul as his kids. The ensemble also includes Amanda Detmer, Isabelle Cornish, Jack Davenport, Jeffrey Nordling, Jennifer Carpenter, Keir Gilchrist and Lilli Birdsell. (TVLine.com)


SELFIE (ABC/Warner Bros.; W: Emily Kapnek; D: Julie Anne Robinson) - Tim Peper and Da'Vine Joy Randolph have both landed roles on the comedy pilot, about Eliza Dooley (Karen Gillan), a self-obsessed 20-something woman who enlists the help of Henry Higenbottam (yet to be cast), a marketing expert at her company to help repair her tarnished image after she becomes the subject of a viral video. He'll play Ethan Chase, "Eliza's jealous, competitive and ambitious co-worker"; with Randolph as Charmonique, "the company's cheerful receptionist." (Deadline.com)


SOBER COMPANION (FOX/CTS; W: David S. Rosenthal & Jennie Snyder Urman; D: Don Scardino) - Justin Long ("Mom") has been tapped for a lead role on the comedy pilot, about Robert Lang (yet to be cast), a charming, but self-destructive attorney finds his world turned upside down when Jeremy Brummel, a court-appointed, and highly unconventional, sober companion takes control of his life. He'll play the aforementioned Jeremy in the project, which is switched to a single-camera format as part of said casting. Ally Maki and Pete Davidson also star. (Deadline.com)


SUPERNATURAL: TRIBES (The CW/Warner Bros.; W: Andrew Dabb; D: Robert Singer) - Sean Faris ("The Vampire Diaries") is the latest addition to the proposed spin-off, about the various mafia-esque monster families that unknowingly to humans run the underbelly of Chicago and who are being tracked by Ennis Roth (Lucien Laviscount), a newly minted Hunter who's trying to stop them and rid Chicago of anything or anyone supernatural. He'll play Julian Durant, "the savagely handsome werewolf son of a wealthy family of lycanthropes who has no love for the shapeshifting Hayden family." Nathaniel Buzolic also stars. (Deadline.com)


TRIBECA (TBS; W: Nancy Carell & Steve Carell; D: Steve Carell) - Quincy Jones and Peggy Lipton have both landed roles on the Rashida Jones-led comedy pilot, about an eccentric but brilliant group of people who investigate crime, reveal way too much personal information about themselves and refuse to rest until justice has been served. They'll play the parents of Jones's Angie Tribeca, a role they also serve in real life. In addition, Alfred Molina will guest star as Dr. Edelweiss, "a solemn and serious handwriting expert who also has a penchant for toys." Andrée Vermeulen, Deon Cole and Jere Burns also star. WARRIORS (ABC/ABC Studios; W: Chris Keyser; D: Martin Campbell) - Greg Grunberg ("The Client List") is the latest to be cast in the drama pilot, about the best and brightest active duty military doctors and nurses as they practice trailblazing medicine. He'll play Leonard Mooney, "an offbeat OB/GYN who uses a wheelchair and thus can no longer operate - unless, that is, he can coax the resident prosthetics whiz to help jerry-rig a state-of-the art-chair." Also starring are Courtney B. Vance, Don Hany, Eloise Mumford, Hampton Fluker, Justina Machado, Morena Baccarin and Steve Kazee. (TVLine.com)
