ANATOMY OF VIOLENCE, THE (CBS) - David Harewood ("Homeland") has boarded the drama pilot, about Adrian Raines, "a criminal psychologist with an expertise in sociopaths who partners with a young female detective with whom he shares a conflicted past." He'll play Assistant Special Agent In Charge Mike Alejo ("married to the FBI, father of twins"), Adrian's boss and friend. Alexander Cary, Alex Gansa and Howard Gordon are all behind the hour, to be directed by Lesli Linka Glatter. 20th Century Fox Television-based Teakwood Lane is producing. (Deadline.com)


BETRAYAL (ABC) - Henry Thomas is the first to be cast in the drama pilot, about Sara Hayward, a beautiful but unhappily married photographer who begins a torrid affair with Jack McCutchen, a lawyer for a powerful family. He'll play T.J., the slightly brain-damaged son of said family's patriarch, Terence Karsten. Director Patty Jenkins and writer David Zabel are behind the ABC Studios-based hour, which is based on the Dutch series "Overspel." (Deadline.com)


CRASH & BURN (FX, New!) - Jeffrey Lieber ("Necessary Roughness") has sold a new drama to the cable channel about Doc Dixon, "a man trying to survive as a Stuntman during the anything goes world of pre-computer-generation, post Vietnam San Fernando Valley, California." Said effort, from Universal Cable Productions and Gale Anne Hurd's Valhalla banner, is loosely inspired by the non-fiction book "The Full Burn" by Kevin Conley. Hurd will presumably executive produce alongside Lieber. (Deadline.com)


DOUBT (ABC) - Rockmond Dunbar ("Sons of Anarchy") is likewise the first to board the drama pilot, about Vincent J. Calzonetti, a cunning but charming ex-cop who's now a low-rent lawyer that uses his street smarts to work the system for his clients while battling his own demons. He's set as Steve Adams, Vince's ex-partner who still remains his best friend and confidante. Said effort comes from Sony Pictures Television with Thomas Schlamme directing and David Shore writing. GABRIELS, THE (FOX) - Tim Meadows ("Mr. Box Office") has landed a role on the comedy pilot, about "an introverted, neurotic Wisconsin family that lives in a community of over-sharers." He'll play Tom Klabunde ("warm, big smile"), the principal of the local middle school. Justin Hurwitz and Andre Gurland penned the single-camera project, which is set up at 20th Century Fox Television. Jason Winer is directing. (Deadline.com)


GANG RELATED (FOX) - Sung Kang ("Fast & Furious 6") has been cast in the drama pilot, about Ryan Lopez (Ramon Rodriguez), a gang member sent in to infiltrate the San Francisco Police Department only to be caught between his crime family ties and an increasing sense of loyalty to his new brothers in blue. He's on board as Tae Kim, an Asian gang specialist on loan from the FBI who's skeptical of Ryan's achievements. 20th Century Fox Television-based Imagine Television is behind the hour, which Allen Hughes is directing from a script by Chris Morgan. INFLUENCE (ABC) - Steve Zahn ("Treme") has snagged a lead role on the drama pilot, about two brothers - manic genius Clark and slick ex-con Ross - who head a unique agency designed to solve their clients' problems using the real science of human motivation and manipulation. He'll play the former role, Clark Edwards, "a former professor whose academic career imploded when the university became aware he was having an affair with a 22-year-old undergraduate." Kyle Killen penned the hour, which is set up at 20th Century Fox Television. (Deadline.com)


INTELLIGENCE (CBS) - Michael Rady ("Emily Owens, M.D.") is the latest addition to the drama pilot, about the U.S. Cyber Command and its key agent, Gabriel Black (Josh Holloway), who has a microchip implanted in his brain that allows him to access the entire electromagnetic spectrum. He'll play Chris Jameson, the team's by-the-book investigator. ABC Studios and CBS Television Studios are both behind the hour, to be directed by David Semel from a script by Michael Seitzman. KILLER WOMEN (ABC) - Marc Blucas ("Necessary Roughness") has been cast while Lawrence Trilling ("Parenthood") is set to direct the drama pilot, about Molly Parker (Tricia Helfer), the only woman in the notoriously male Texas Rangers. He'll play DEA officer Dan Winston, Molly's "unshaven and dangerously handsome" ex. Hannah Shakespeare is behind the ABC Studios-based hour, which is based on the Argentine format "Mujeres Asesinas." LUCKY 7 (ABC) - Isiah Whitlock, Jr. ("The Wire") has been cast in the drama pilot, about seven employees at a service station in Queens whose lives are changed in many unexpected ways when they win a 45 million dollar lottery jackpot. He'll play Bob Harris, their smiling, friendly boss who got hurt recently in a robbery. David Zabel and Jason Richman are behind the ABC Studios-based project, which is based on the U.K. series "The Syndicate." (Deadline.com)


MIDDLE AGE RAGE (ABC) - Annie Mumolo ("This Is 40") has been tapped for the lead role on the comedy pilot, about Carol Bobeck, a wife/mother/Oprah fan who is fed up with feeling invisible and begins to speak up and demand the respect she feels she's earned. Cheryl Holliday penned the single-camera project, which is set up at ABC Studios. (Deadline.com)


MIXOLOGY (ABC) - Adam Campbell, Craig Frank and Vanessa Lengies are the latest to board the ensemble comedy, about five guys and five girls trying to find love at Mix, a trendy Manhattan bar, over the course of one night. Campbell will play Ron, "a former Internet hotshot who is now deeply in debt after his startup went bust"; with Frank as Cal, "always the hottest and the dumbest guy in the room"; and Lengies as Kasey, "a hyper-positive personal trainer by day and a waitress by night." Andrew Santino, Blake Lee, Kate Simses and Mercedes Masöhn also star in the ABC Studios-based project, from director Larry Charles and co-creators Jon Lucas and Scott Moore. (Deadline.com)


OXYGEN (The CW) - Malese Jow and Titus Makin Jr. have both been cast in the sci-fi drama pilot, about a high school pilot program in which humans and a select group of aliens are desegregated and the ensuing love story between a human girl Emery (Aimee Teegarden) and an Orion boy Roman (yet to be cast). They'll play Emery's friends: Julia, a dying - but surprisingly vibrant - girl who may get a second chance at life thanks to the aliens; and the goofy and cute Lukas, who's perpetually in a hoodie. Director Gary Fleder and writer Meredith Averill are behind the hour, which is set up at CBS Television Studios. (Deadline.com)


PULLING (ABC) - June Diane Raphael ("New Girl") has booked one of the principal roles on the comedy pilot, about three single thirtysomething women who live together after one breaks off her engagement the day before her wedding. She'll play the latter role, Donna, played by Sharon Horgan in the original U.K. series. Mandy Moore also stars in the ABC Studios-based half-hour, from director Jason Moore and co-writers Gene Stupnitsky and Lee Eisenberg. (Deadline.com)


RETURNED, THE (ABC) - Matt Craven ("NCIS") has scored a role on the drama pilot, about a worldwide event in which loved ones return from the dead exactly as they last were in life. He'll play Fred Garland, a small town sheriff whose wife passed decades ago. Writer Aaron Zelman and director Charles McDougall are behind the ABC Studios-based hour, which is based on the upcoming novel by Jason Mott. (Deadline.com)


SLEEPY HOLLOW (FOX) - Orlando Jones and Katia Winter are the first to land roles on the drama pilot, in which Ichabod Crane, a Captain during the Revolutionary War, is mysteriously transported to present day Sleepy Hollow, where he takes on the supernatural. She'll play Katrina Crane, his stunningly beautiful wife who works as a civilian nurse in the 37th Regiment. Jones then is set as Frank Williams née Luis Mendez, a Lieutenant with the Westchester Sheriff's department who transfers to Sleepy Hollow in order to coordinate the investigation into a double homicide. Roberto Orci, Alex Kurtzman and Phillip Iscove co-wrote the 20th Century Fox Television-based hour, to be directed by Len Wiseman. (Deadline.com)


SPY (ABC) - Paget Brewster ("Criminal Minds") has scored a role on the comedy pilot, about Tim Elliot (Rob Corddry), a hapless single father who tries to impress his precocious 10-year-old son, Marcus (Mason Cook), by joining the CIA. She'll play Erica, the Tim's neurotic ex - and Marcus's mother - who left him for another man. Simeon Goulden is behind the ABC Studios-based project, based on his U.K. series of the same name. Alex Hardcastle is directing. (Deadline.com)


TOMORROW PEOPLE, THE (The CW) - Australian actor Luke Mitchell ("H2O: Just Add Water") has booked a lead role on the drama pilot, which is based on the U.K. series about young people from around the world who possesses special powers as a result of the next stage in human evolution. He'll play one of them, John Young ("handsome, cool under pressure"), who, alongside Cara (Peyton List), spearheads the efforts to find potential "tomorrow people" and protect them from ULTRA, a secret government program hunting them down. Danny Cannon is directing the Warner Bros. Television-based hour from a script by Greg Berlanti, Julie Plec and Phil Klemmer. (Deadline.com)


TRUE DETECTIVE (HBO) - Tory Kittles ("Sons of Anarchy") is the latest actor bound for the upcoming drama, about two detectives - played by Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey - whose lives collide and entwine during a 17-year hunt for a serial killer in Louisiana. He'll take over for Wood Harris as Detective Thomas Papania in the project, which comes from director Cary Fukunaga and writer Nic Pizzolatto. The ensemble also includes Alexandra Daddario, Brad Carter, Elizabeth Reaser, Jay O. Sanders, Kevin Dunn, Lili Simmons, Michael Potts and Michelle Monaghan. (Deadline.com)


UNAUTHORIZED GREG GARCIA PILOT, THE (CBS) - Will Arnett ("Up All Night") has been tapped for the lead role on the multi-camera comedy pilot, about Steve Stevenson, a recently divorced man whose life is complicated when his parents decide to move in with him. He'll play said fellow in the CBS Television Studios-based project, which is second position to the hiatused NBC comedy. James Burrows is directing from a script by Greg Garcia. (Deadline.com)


UNDATEABLE (NBC) - Brent Morin and Rick Glassman have both been cast in the multi-camera comedy pilot, about two guys - man-child Danny Beeman and chronic over-thinker Justin Zip - who bond over their foibles with the opposite sex. Morin will play the latter role while Glassman is set as Burski ("a pontificator and the master of putting his foot in his mouth"), a regular at Black Eye's Bar, the guys' regular hangout. Bill Lawrence's Warner Bros. Television-based Doozer and writer Adam Sztykiel are behind the half-hour, which is based on Anne Coyle and Ellen Rakieten's book of the same name. (Deadline.com)
