"Pop Up Video: Jersey Shore" Two-Night Marathon Premieres on Friday, March 16 at 10 PM/9c and Saturday, March 17 at 9 PM/8c on VH1

NEW YORK, NY, March 8, 2012 - New Jersey's famous, larger-than-life housemates will receive the "Pop Up" treatment when MTV's highest-rated series, "Jersey Shore," debuts with the two-night "Pop Up Video: Jersey Shore" marathon on Friday, March 16, starting at 10 PM/9c and Saturday, March 17 starting at 9 PM/8c on VH1. Combining two of each network's most talked-about series, this marathon will feature select episodes from season one and offer fans the chance to relive the birth of "G.T.L." (i.e. "Gym, Tan, Laundry") alongside the well-known "bubbles" full of pop culture trivia, behind-the-scenes facts and biting humor that "Pop Up Video" provides.

"Pop Up Video: Jersey Shore" marathon will "pop" all the insider info behind the personalities that have become household names: Paul "Pauly D" Delvecchio, Jenni "JWOWW" Farley, Samantha "Sammi Sweetheart" Giancola, Vinny Guadagnino, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Angelina Pivarnick, Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi and Michael "The Situation" Sorrentino. Expect "Pop Up Video" to relive major moments including the original move-in day in Seaside Heights, the housemates working at the "Shore store" and the start of their love affair with the nightclub Karma.

"Pop Up Video: Jersey Shore" will integrate interactive elements including user polling and user-generated "pop up" content that will be reflected in the show. Using the famous pop-up "bubbles," viewers will learn fun facts about the behind-the-scenes of "Jersey Shore."

Original co-creator Woody Thompson is an executive producer for Eyeboogie. Executive producing for VH1 are Shelly Tatro, Karla Hidalgo and Jeff Olde.

"Jersey Shore" is MTV's #1 series of all time, and even in its fifth season, is still the #1 cable series each week among P12-34. The "Jersey Shore" season five cast reunion special premieres Thursday, March 22nd at 10p.m. ET/PT on MTV.
