LOS ANGELES, Sept. 19, 2011 - HBO received 19 Primetime Emmy(R) Awards, the most of any network for the tenth year in a row, in the 63rd Annual Primetime Emmy(R) Awards competition. "Boardwalk Empire" led all programming with 8 awards, while "Mildred Pierce" received 5 awards. HBO's Emmy(R) wins this year include:

8 Emmys(R) for "Boardwalk Empire," including Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series (Martin Scorsese); Outstanding Casting for a Drama Series; Outstanding Makeup for a Single-Camera Series (Non-Prosthetic); Outstanding Art Direction for a Single-Camera Series; Outstanding Single-Camera Picture Editing for a Drama Series; Outstanding Special Visual Effects for a Series; Outstanding Sound Editing for a Series; and Outstanding Cinematography for a Single-Camera Series.

5 Emmys(R) for "Mildred Pierce," including Outstanding Lead Actress in a Miniseries or a Movie (Kate Winslet); Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Miniseries or a Movie (Guy Pearce); Outstanding Casting for a Miniseries, Movie or a Special; Outstanding Music Composition for a Miniseries, Movie or a Special (Original Dramatic Score); and Outstanding Art Direction for a Miniseries or Movie.
