Adler will serve as a co-executive producer with Aguirre-Sacasa as a co-producer, Noxon and Hitchcock as consulting producers and Matt Hodgson and Ross Maxwell as staff writers.

HOBGOBLIN (HBO) - Feature helmer Darren Aronofsky ("Black Swan") has signed on to direct the potential period drama, about "a group of con men and magicians using their skills of deception to help defeat Hitler during World War II." He'll work from a script by the husband-and-wife duo of Michael Chabon and Ayelet Waldman as well as executive produce alongside John Lesher and Adam Kassan.

IDENTITY CRISIS (CBS, New!) - "Late Late Show's" Craig Ferguson is in talks to host a game show pilot at the Eye based on the board game of the same name in which teams of two that must identify the names of famous people. He'll also executive produce the Magical Jade Productions-based hour alongside Scott St. John ("1 vs. 100") and Coquette productions' Courteney Cox and David Arquette. Production on the pilot is set to begin later this summer.

MORE AS THIS STORY DEVELOPS (HBO) - John Gallagher Jr., Thomas Sadoski and Josh Pence are the latest additions to Aaron Sorkin's drama pilot, about cable news anchor Will McCallister (Jeff Daniels) and his show's staff led by executive producer Mackenzie (Emily Mortimer). Gallagher will play Jim, Mackenzie's loyal staffer who follows her to Will's show and develops a crush on Alison Pill's character Maggie. Pence then is set as Maggie's current boyfriend Steve with Sadoski as Don, "Will's former executive producer who left him to go work for Will's protege's new show." Olivia Munn and Sam Waterston also star in the project, to be helmed by Greg Mottola.
