NEW YORK, Feb. 17, 2011 -- UK chart-topper Adele serenades American audiences during her "VH1 Unplugged" performance proving that soulful sounds have no boundaries. Debuting online at Unplugged .VH1.com on Thursday, March 3, at 7PM*, Adele's powerhouse performance includes "Someone Like You," "Don't You Remember," "Chasing Pavements," "Rolling In The Deep," and Carol King's "Natural Woman" made popular by Aretha Franklin. "Turning Tables," off of her sophomore album "21," will be available as an online-exclusive track. "VH1 Unplugged: Adele" will premiere on VH1 on Friday, March 4 at 11PM* and on Palladia, MTV Networks' high-definition music channel on March 5 at 9PM*. The online premiere on March 3 will be accompanied by a Live Viewing Party at Unplugged.VH1.com and on Starburst's Facebook page where fans can watch and chat with one another.

Having been named a VH1 "You Oughta Know Artist" in 2008 and debuting her successful album, "19", Adele has been capturing the hearts and minds of audiences across the globe. While touring in the United States, Adele found inspiration in southern roots for her sophomore album, "21". The songbird is setting her sights on topping the American billboard charts with the album's upcoming US release on February 22nd.

Starburst continues as the exclusive partner for the second consecutive season of "Unplugged." The brand will be featured alongside each episode on-air and at Unplugged.CMT.com, Unplugged.MTV.com and Unplugged.VH1.com. In the spirit of Starburst's "contradictions" tagline, each artist/band will perform an unlikely cover song that crosses genres and decades as Adele did with "Natural Woman." In addition, Starburst will play a role in the online viewing parties by tapping into their Facebook community. The chat will happen simultaneously on Starburst's Facebook page and Unplugged.VH1.com where fans will have the ability to provide thoughts and comments via their social networks.

New episodes of "Unplugged" will launch throughout the year at Unplugged.CMT.com, Unplugged.MTV.com, and/or Unplugged.VH1.com.
