ROCK THIS HOUSE, ROCK IT INSIDE OUT!

"HEROES" STAR JACK COLEMAN TAKES THE STAGE IN "ROCK THE HOUSE," A HALLMARK CHANNEL ORIGINAL MOVIE WORLD PREMIERE JUNE 11

Cassi Thomson, Clare Carey, Helen Slater and Andy Milder Also Star

Break out your old Fender and get ready to rock as Jack Coleman ("Heroes") finds out it's never too late to turn your solo act into a family band in the Hallmark Channel Original Movie World Premiere, "Rock the House," Saturday, June 11 (9p.m. ET/PT, 8C). Coleman stars alongside "Big Love" actress Cassi Thomson as a father who needs a wake-up call to get his relationship with his teenage daughter back in tune. Clare Carey, ("Crash") Helen Slater ("City Slickers") and Andy Milder ("Weeds") costar.

The rush of applause. The adoring teenage fans. The thumping beat of the bass. That's what Max Peterson (Coleman) left behind when he graduated high school and replaced his rock star dreams and guitar riffs in his teenage garage band with a fast-moving career as an overworked lawyer. Focusing on his job left little time for family, which resulted in a divorce from his wife Diane (Slater) and a strained relationship with his 16-year-old daughter Karen (Thomson). Now Karen, who has been having trouble making friends and feels like an outcast, wants to apply to boarding school across the country to get away from her dad, and Max begins to realize making a living doesn't have to mean missing out on what really matters.

Then, Max's old band mate and best friend, Ronny (Milder), convinces him to go to his 25th high school reunion. After the guys brush off their instruments and reunite for an impromptu gig, Max offers to turn his house into a makeshift studio so the band can get together and jam on the weekends. While the group tunes up, Max's relationship with Karen

starts to hit a few high notes too, at the urging of his old high school crush and new girlfriend, Jesse (Carey). But just as Karen and Max begin to rebuild their bond, Max faces a new project at work that comes with a lucrative promotion. Now he must decide between playing with the band at Karen's prom, or working overtime at the firm, and risks letting his relationship with his daughter fall flat.

"Rock the House" is an MNG Films Ireland Production in association with Larry Levinson Productions. Larry Levinson is the executive producer. Randy Pope, Tony Roman and Mary Callery are the co-executive producers, and Lincoln Lageson and Erik Heiberg are the producers. Ernie Barbarash directed from a script by Joe Woolf.
