AMERICA'S FUNNIEST HOME VIDEOS TO EXPAND ONLINE AT ABC.COM WITH USER-GENERATED VIDEO COLLECTION

Expanded Website Will Allow Viewers to Upload Their Own Video Creations

Dedicated to expanding its network and channel brands across multiple platforms and connecting viewers with their favorite shows anytime and anywhere, Disney-ABC Television Groups ABC.com will launch a new expanded site for the popular series Americas Funniest Home Videos, allowing users to upload their own personal home videos, it was announced today by Anne Sweeney, co-chair, Disney Media Networks and president, Disney-ABC Television Group, at The Walt Disney Companys 2007 Investor Conference.

Americas Funniest Home Videos was the original pioneer in user-generated content when it premiered on ABC 17 years ago, and it makes perfect sense for us to build out the series profile online to create a community that gives users a chance to showcase their own creativity and connect with others, said Ms. Sweeney. We are thrilled to be working together with Vin Di Bona and his team to offer fans of the show and fans of user-generated content in general a rich, robust experience at ABC.com.

Our goal is to make the Americas Funniest Home Videos website the most fun, family-friendly site on this planet, said Vin Di Bona, executive producer of the series.

Beginning this summer, viewers will be able to share their favorite footage of piata whacks gone wrong, comic cats and dogs, amusement park screamers, amusing baby antics and hilarious wedding mishaps online at ABC.com. Visitors to the website will be able to comment and vote on their favorites. Videos receiving the most votes will be prominently featured on the site and could potentially be included in the television series.

A search function on the site will enable users to seek out videos they wish to view by popularity and by specific category. Additionally, a robust library of videos previously featured in the series will also be available for online viewing.

In its 17 seasons to date, Americas Funniest Home Videos has given away over $9 million in prize money and evaluated more than half a million videotapes from home viewers. Americas Funniest Home Videos is the #1 rated program in its hour (Sundays, 7:00-8:00 p.m.) among Adults 18-34, Teens 12-17 and Kids 2-11.

Vin Di Bona is executive producer of the series, with Todd Thicke and Michele Nasraway serving as co-executive producers. Americas Funniest Home Videos, which premiered on January 14, 1990 and is from Vin Di Bona Productions, airs with Spanish subtitles via secondary closed captioning.

Disney-ABC Television Group is home to all of The Walt Disney Companys worldwide entertainment and news television properties. The Group includes the ABC Television Network, Disney Channels worldwide portfolio of kids channels, ABC Family and SOAPnet; as well as television production and syndication divisions Touchstone Television, Walt Disney Television Animation, Buena Vista Worldwide Television and Walt Disney Television International. Disney-ABC Television Group also manages the Radio Disney Network in addition to the Companys equity interest in Lifetime Entertainment Services and A&E Television Networks.
