NBC'S GINA GIROLAMO MOVES TO NBC UNIVERSAL TELEVISION STUDIO AS VICE PRESIDENT, COMEDY PROGRAMMING, WHILE STUDIO'S RENATE RADFORD JOINS THE NETWORK AS VICE PRESIDENT, COMEDY DEVELOPMENT

BURBANK/UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. -- June 26, 2006 -- NBC Entertainment comedy development executive Gina Girolamo will return to NBC Universal Television Studio as Vice President, Comedy Programming, while in turn, the studio's Renate Radford will join the network after being promoted to Vice President, Comedy Development, NBC Entertainment. The announcements were made today by Shelley McCrory, Senior Vice President, Comedy Development, and Katherine Pope, Executive Vice President, Series Development, NBC Entertainment.

"I'm truly delighted that Gina has agreed to return to the studio after a stellar stint at the network," said McCrory. "She is a talented executive with phenomenal taste. We're truly lucky to have her back."

"Renate's ability to recognize good material and cultivate strong talent relationships are only matched by her enthusiasm for the comedy business," said Pope. "We look forward to bringing all her skills back to the network."

Girolamo most recently served as Vice President, Comedy Development, at NBC since June 2004, where she helped develop the network's freshman hit "My Name Is Earl" and the upcoming mid-season comedy series "Andy Barker, P.I." Upon her return to NBC Universal Television Studio, Girolamo has already been responsible for helping secure a deal with director Richard Shepard ("The Matador," "Betty the Ugly").

Earlier, Girolamo had been Director, Primetime Series for the former NBC Studios since September 2001. From 2001-03, she was responsible for handling current program assignments for such series as "Happy Family," "Providence," "AUSA" and "The In-Laws" before focusing strictly on comedy development in 2003 where she helped nurture the mid-season comedy "Committed."

Girolamo joined NBC Studios as a Manager in the Saturday Morning and Family Programs department. Earlier from September 1999-September 2001, she was a Coordinator in Primetime Programs for the WB Network. Girolamo will report to McCrory.

Radford, who will now report to NBC's Jeff Ingold, Senior Vice President, Comedy Development, comes to NBC after a two-year stint as Director, Comedy, NBC Universal Television Studio, where she helped to develop such series as the new NBC Fall comedy "30 Rock," the mid-season "Andy Barker, P.I.," and "Committed" in 2005. Prior to that assignment, she has been working as a Manager of Comedy Development at NBC Studios before the NBC and Universal merger in 2004.

In addition, Radford also was an Associate in NBC's drama development department. Prior to that, she was an Executive Assistant for Jeff Zucker (then President, NBC Entertainment), and served in the NBC Entertainment President's office for three years. She got her start in entertainment as a writer's assistant on the sitcom "Jenny" and later worked as a development assistant at The WB network. Radford is a native of Mendocino, California, and graduated from California State University, Fullerton.
