Created by Dick Wolf, a highly respected drama series producer and originator of the "Law and Order" brand, one of the longest running franchises in prime time history, the DVD collection of Law and Order: Trial by Jury gives audiences the opportunity to rediscover the show that kept fans on the edge of their seats.

Law and Order: Trial by Jury stars Bebe Neuwirth ("Cheers") as Assistant District Attorney Tracy Kibre, Fred Dalton Thompson ("Law & Order") as her boss, District Attorney Arthur Branch and "Law and Order" legend and Emmy(R) winner Jerry Orbach, reprising his role as the hard-boiled detective, Lennie Briscoe. Presenting trials from the point-of-view not only of the prosecutors and their investigators, but also defense attorneys, defendants, judges and jurors, Law and Order: Trial by Jury focuses on the inner workings of the judicial system from arraignment to verdict. Every episode of the revolutionary series is included on this highly collectible three-disc set, as well as the episode that never aired on network television. It also features deleted scenes and the featurette, "A Different Look at Law & Order." The collection, which also includes "Night," the crossover episode with "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" starring Chris Meloni and Emmy(R) winner Mariska Hargitay, is priced at $59.98.

Also starring Amy Carlson ("Third Watch") and Kirk Acevedo ("Oz"), Law & Order: Trial by Jury offers viewers an up-close view of the criminal justice system like it's never been shown before. Both sides of the courtroom receive equal billing, as the show traces the legal maneuverings of prosecutors and defense attorneys and reveals the development of their intricate strategies and the complex process of building a case, investigating leads, and preparing witnesses and defendants for trial.

Law and Order: Trial by Jury begins when veteran homicide detective Lennie Briscoe (Jerry Orbach), retires from the NYPD and joins the District Attorney's office as an investigator. The series features dazzling performances from celebrated guest stars, including Lorraine Bracco ("The Sopranos"), Peter Coyote (E.T.), Candice Bergen ("Murphy Brown") and more, as well as an Emmy(R)-nominated star turn from veteran actress Angela Lansbury.
