MARSTERS RETURNS TO BATTLE LEX LUTHER ON �SMALLVILLE�

The WB Network welcomes a sexy and intriguing celebrity guest roster to kick-off its midseason, including Nick Lachey (The WB's �Charmed,� �Newlyweds: Nick & Jessica�), James Denton (�Desperate Housewives�), Kelly Carlson (�Nip/Tuck�) and James Marsters (�Angel�). The announcement was made today at the network's Winter 2006 Television Critics� Association Press Tour.

Actor Nick Lachey guest stars on TWINS in an episode entitled �Himbo,� which will air February 24 (9:30-10:00 p.m. ET). Lachey will play Charlie Solik, a former underwear model and Arnold Undergarments� new Marketing Director, hired by Farrah (Molly Stanton). This is Lachey's second guest appearance on the network after his debut on �Charmed.� Lachey also has joined The WB talent roster for an untitled romantic comedy as a famous newlywed baseball player. The script is being written by Danny Jacobson (�Mad About You�). Lachey's other television credits include �Hope & Faith� and �American Dreams.� His feature film credits include �The Hard Easy� and he can be heard with his pop band 98 Degrees on the soundtracks of �Pok�mon: The First Movie� and �Mulan.�

�Desperate Housewives� hunk James Denton returns to REBA as the irresistible marriage counselor Dr. Morgan. This time, he shows up at Reba's (Reba McEntire) door to try to rekindle their mutual attraction in the episode entitled �The Trouble with Dr. Hunky,� to air later this season. Aside from the hit series �Desperate Housewives,� Denton's television credits include guest roles in �The West Wing,� �Philly,� �JAG,� �The Pretender� and �Ally McBeal.� His feature film credits include �Primary Colors� and �Face/Off,� as well as Carl Reiner's �That Old Feeling.�

Kelly Carlson (�Nip/Tuck�) returns to EVERWOOD to stir things up as the sultry Ada, who tempts Bright (Chris Pratt), testing his faithfulness to Hannah (Sarah Drew). The episode, entitled �The Land of Confusion,� will air when �Everwood� returns to the Thursday night lineup in March. Carlson's television credits include the Emmy Award-winning series �Nip/Tuck� and �Head Cases.� Her theatrical credits include the upcoming film �The Marine,� �Paparazzi,� �Starship Troopers 2: Hero of the Federation� and �3000 Miles to Graceland.�

James Marsters reprises his role on SMALLVILLE as college professor Dr. Milton Fine, alter ego of the evil Brainiac, a classic DC Comics villain and one of the Man of Steel's most formidable enemies. Brainiac returns to manipulate Lex's (Michael Rosenbaum) obsession with the spaceship to trick him into helping free General Zod from the Fortress of Solitude. The story arc begins with the episode �Hypnotic,� which will air this spring. Marsters is well known to The WB's audience as the vampire Spike in the critically acclaimed hit series �Buffy the Vampire Slayer� and its successful spin-off �Angel.� Marsters� additional television credits include a guest appearance on the series �Northern Exposure,� �Strange Frequency� and �Andromeda.� His feature film credits include �The House on Haunted Hill� and �Winding Roads.�
