The Hottest Performers in Music Heat Up "World Music Awards 2005"

THE HOTTEST PERFORMERS IN MUSIC HEAT UP "WORLD MUSIC AWARDS 2005"

James Denton ("Desperate Housewives") and Carmen Electra Host the Star-Studded Event

Destiny's Child, Mariah Carey, Bon Jovi, Stevie Wonder and Usher are a few of the dynamic performers who take the stage on "World Music Awards 2005," airing TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 13 (9:00-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

Highlights include a stirring tribute to Destiny's Child from Patti Labelle, Babyface and Usher. Also slated to perform are Amerie, Alanis Morisette, Rhianna, Kid Rock, Stevie Wonder, Carlos Santana with Michelle Branch and Australian sensation Delta Goodrem.

Presenters include Paula Abdul, Pamela Anderson, Toni Braxton, Hilary Duff, Melissa Etheridge, The Game, Maggie Grace, Daryl Hannah, Rachel Hunter, The Killers, Anna Kournikova, Nick Lachey, Ricky Martin, Jermaine Dupri, Jenny McCarthy, Kelly Monaco, Kelly and Sharon Osbourne, Eric Roberts, Antonio Sabato, Jr., Snoop Dogg, Solange, Kiefer Sutherland and Jennifer Tilly.

Established in 1989, "World Music Awards" is the only awards show that honors the BEST SELLING recording artists from every major country around the world. The Awards are given out for record sales ONLY. Sales figures which determine winners are supplied and certified by the IFPI (International Federation of the Phonography Industry), with no voting audience and no voting jury. It is the record-buying public who determine the winners by buying the records.

"World Music Awards 2005" is a Marcor International Production. Executive producers are Melissa Corken, John Martinotti and Gary Pudney.
