UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. -- August 30, 2005 -- The newest DVD collection of NBC's highly rated crime series Law & Order: SVU hits retail shelves September 27, 2005, from Universal Studios Home Entertainment. The series also continues to break records with its dual-window USA Network airings, and has been renewed through 2006. This year the show received three Emmy Award nominations, one for Hargitay (her second) as Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series, and two for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series category (Amanda Plummer and Angela Lansbury). Wolf's additional series, the original Law & Order and Law & Order: Criminal Intent, have met with equally loyal popular and critical acclaim and their highly collectible full season DVD collections have been consistent best sellers.
