HALLE BERRY, JON CRYER, MARISKA HARGITAY, CHARLIE SHEEN, JON STEWART AND KIEFER SUTHERLAND CONFIRMED AS PRESENTERS FOR THE "57TH ANNUAL PRIMETIME EMMY AWARDS," TO BE BROADCAST FROM THE SHRINE AUDITORIUM IN LOS ANGELES SEPT. 18 ON THE CBS TELEVISION NETWORK

Halle Berry, Jon Cryer, Mariska Hargitay, Charlie Sheen, Jon Stewart and Kiefer Sutherland have been confirmed as presenters for the 57TH ANNUAL PRIMETIME EMMY AWARDS to be broadcast from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, Sunday, Sept. 18 (8:00-11:00 PM, live ET/delayed PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Halle Berry is nominated for two Emmy Awards this year for her work in the Oprah Winfrey produced movie "Their Eyes Were Watching God" and as executive producer for the television movie "Lackawanna Blues." For her performance in Lions Gate Films' "Monster's Ball," she won an Oscar, a SAG Award, the Berlin Silver Bear Award and was named Best Actress by the National Board of Review. Berry earned the Emmy, Golden Globe, SAG and NAACP Image Award for her critically acclaimed performance in the television movie, "Introducing Dorothy Dandridge," which she also produced. She is currently in production on the third installment of the "X-Men" series being directed by Brett Ratner.

Jon Cryer stars as Alan Harper on the hit CBS comedy series "Two and a Half Men." He has appeared in numerous feature films including "No Small Affair," "Pretty in Pink" and "Hot Shots!," among others. He co-wrote, produced and starred in the independent films "The Pompatus of Love" and "Went to Coney Island on a Mission from God... Be Back by Five." Cryer began his career on stage and his first foray into television was starring in the sitcom "The Famous Teddy Z."

Mariska Hargitay received her second Emmy nomination this year for her role as Detective Olivia Benson on the crime drama "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit." She won the 2005 Golden Globe Award for Lead Actress in a Drama Series and was a 2004 SAG Award nominee. In its freshman season (1999-2000), Hargitay earned nominations from the Viewers for Quality Television for Best Actress, from the TV Guide Awards for Favorite Actress in a New Series and from the International Press Academy for Best Performance by an Actress in a Drama Series.

Currently starring as Charlie Harper on the popular CBS comedy series "Two and a Half Men," Charlie Sheen won a Golden Globe Award for his lead role in "Spin City." Sheen has starred in more than 40 feature films, including "Platoon," "Wall Street," "Red Dawn," "Lucas," "Navy SEALS," "Eight Men Out," "Young Guns," "Major League," "Hot Shots!" "Hot Shots! Part Deux," "The Three Musketeers," "The Chase," "Money Talks," "Being John Malkovich," "Scary Movie 3" and "The Big Bounce."

Nominated for his third Emmy Award for Individual Performance in a Variety or Music Program, Jon Stewart is considered one of America's top social and comedic voices. From his anchor chair on Comedy Central's "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart," Stewart and "The Daily Show" have received 10 Emmy Award nominations and won five. These include winning for Outstanding Writing for a Variety, Music or Comedy Program three times (2001, 2003 and 2004) as well as Outstanding Variety, Music or Comedy Series in 2003 and 2004. As host of "The Daily Show," Stewart has interviewed such luminaries as former President Bill Clinton, Senators Hillary Rodham Clinton, John Kerry, John Edwards and Bob Dole and such celebrity icons as Tom Hanks and Bruce Willis.

Nominated for his fourth Emmy, Kiefer Sutherland is currently starring in the critically acclaimed drama "24." He has won a Golden Globe Award, a SAG Award and garnered a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actor in a Drama Series. The series has also won a Golden Globe Award for Best Drama. Sutherland has an extensive list of feature films to his credit including "Taking Lives," "Dark City," "Eye for an Eye," "The Three Musketeers," "Article 99," "A Few Good Men," "Flatliners," "Chicago Joe and the Showgirl," "1969," "Flashback," "Young Guns," "Young Guns 2," "Bright Lights, Big City," "The Lost Boys," "Promised Land," "At Close Range" and "Stand By Me."

The 57TH ANNUAL PRIMETIME EMMY AWARDS is being produced by Ken Ehrlich Productions and is presented by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. Ken Ehrlich is the executive producer; Michael B. Seligman and Renato Basile are the producers; Danette Herman is the coordinating producer and executive in charge of talent. Bruce Gowers will direct.
