NBC Seeks 'Treasure Hunters' for New Unscripted Quest Series That Features Teams of Competitors Who Will Use Folklore, Fantasy and Actual History to Solve Complex Puzzle

NBC SEEKS �TREASURE HUNTERS� FOR NEW UNSCRIPTED QUEST SERIES THAT FEATURES TEAMS OF COMPETITORS WHO WILL USE FOLKLORE, FANTASY AND ACTUAL HISTORY TO SOLVE COMPLEX PUZZLE

BURBANK, Calif. -� April 6, 2005 -� NBC is currently casting for its unscripted "Treasure Hunters" -- the new, quest-oriented series that features multi-player teams to be sent on a global search to solve a puzzle -- and the first team to uncover all the clues will be given the location of a hidden treasure.

"Treasure Hunters" will focus on the solving of the puzzle instead of the race itself.

Those interested in auditioning for "Treasure Hunters" can apply online by visiting the "Contestants" page at www.nbc.com, which also lists location dates and times for casting calls. There will be open calls in Tampa/Orlando, Nashville, Dallas/Austin, Washington D.C., New York City, Denver, Chicago and Boston.

"Treasure Hunters" is produced by NBC Universal Television Studio in association with Magical Elves Productions, Imagine Television and Madison Road Entertainment. Dan Cutforth, Jane Lipsitz, Brian Grazer, David Nevins, Tom Mazza, Danica Krislovich and Jak Severson serve as executive producers.
