THE HONEYMOON IS OVER! "MARRIAGE 911" SPECIAL DEBUTS MONDAY, APRIL 25, ON FOX
What happens when the honeymoon ends and the everyday stresses of children, work and life take over a marriage? MARRIAGE 911 comes to the aid of one real-life husband and wife who struggle to cope with their hectic life while trying to maintain a healthy marriage. From the creators of NANNY 911, MARRIAGE 911 will send an expert to help solve this marriage in crisis. Tune in to see the dramatic turns this relationship takes on Monday, April 25 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.
Meet Chris and Laura King. Chris Sr. is a chiropractor and a self-proclaimed "old-fashioned guy" who leaves all the household "chores" to his wife, including raising their children. He spends a limited amount of time (about an hour a day) with his kids and prefers sitting at his computer with earplugs on while the kingdom clashes around him. His wife Laura, now a stay-at-home mom, tries to run a household in cramped quarters with their five mischievous children, three dogs, three cats, two rabbits and a hamster, all while being a wife as well.
On Monday, April 18 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT), the King family will be featured on NANNY 911, as Nanny Stella tries to restore order in their hectic home. The following week, on MARRIAGE 911, the Kings will meet with Jamie Greene, a licensed marriage, family and child therapist for the past 16 years. Greene has been through it all: he's had relationship problems, been an '80s rock star and had friends with addiction problems. His own experiences have enabled him to empathize with others and guide them out of extraordinary situations. Things heat up as Greene observes Chris and Laura at home and helps them address the fundamental issues in their marriage. With over 50 percent of all marriages ending in divorce, Greene has a challenge ahead of him in trying to salvage this troubled relationship. See what the marriage specialist has to say about the Kings' union and what steps they can take to improve it.
MARRIAGE 911 is produced by Granada Entertainment. Paul Jackson, Bruce Toms and Gerry McKean serve as executive producers.
