UPN TAPS NEW EXECUTIVES IN BUSINESS AFFAIRS, CASTING AND DRAMA DEVELOPMENT

Pamela Miller Joins as Vice President, Business and Legal Affairs, UPN; Dana Theodoratos Promoted To Director, Casting, UPN; Angela Somerville Joins As Director, Drama Development, UPN

UPN has named Pamela Miller, Vice President, Business and Legal Affairs; Dana Theodoratos has been promoted to Director, Casting, UPN, and Angela Somerville joins as Director, Drama Development, UPN.

In her new role, Miller will handle the negotiation of development, talent and pilot/series deals on behalf of the network. Miller reports to Nicole Levinsohn, Senior Vice President, Business and Legal Affairs, UPN.

As Director, Casting, Theodoratos will continue to search for talent to star in new UPN programming as well as secure guest stars to appear in UPN's current series. Theodoratos had been UPN�s manager of casting since she joined the network in June 2002, where she has been instrumental in bringing fresh new faces to UPN. She reports to Judith Weiner, Senior Vice President, Talent & Casting, UPN.

As Director, Drama Development, Somerville will be involved in all aspects of developing new drama series for UPN. She reports to Maggie Murphy, Senior Vice President, Drama Development, UPN.

Previously, Miller served as business affairs consultant for Warner Bros. Television, negotiating network license and production and syndication deals. Prior to Warner Bros., she was executive vice president of programming and business development at Studio 4 Networks, working on their children-oriented and educational video-on-demand networks. Before Studio 4 Networks, Miller served as senior vice president of business affairs at CBS Enterprises, overseeing all business affairs for the distribution of "The Oprah Winfrey Show," "Dr. Phil," "Wheel of Fortune" and "Jeopardy!" and development and production of reality-based syndication programming. She had previously been senior vice president, business affairs at CBS Broadcast International. Miller also served as vice president of legal and business affairs, west coast for King World Productions, Inc. From 1993 to 1997, Miller worked at ABC, Inc. in New York City, serving as co-counsel to ABC Sports and general attorney, broadcasting. She initially joined ABC in 1991 as general attorney. Miller received her law degree from the American University, Washington College of Law in Washington, D.C., and received her bachelor of science from Boston University, College of Communications.

Prior to UPN, Theodoratos served as manager of casting for three years at the Artists Television Group studio. She began her career as executive assistant for the president of programming and development at Paramount Domestic Television. Theodoratos earned her bachelor of arts degree in radio, television and film from California State University, Northridge.

Somerville comes to UPN from ABC, where she served as director of current programming involved with such series as "Alias" and "8 Simple Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughter." Prior to ABC, she spent three years as director of development for Dick Wolf's Wolf Films, overseeing the development of "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" and served as the programming executive on all three "Law & Order" series. Before joining ABC in 2000, Somerville was coordinator of drama development at NBC. She began her career as executive assistant in the development and current programming departments at NBC. Earning dual degrees in speech and theater as well as psychology, Somerville graduated from St. Lawrence University in Canton, N.Y.
