JASON BATEMAN, ZACH BRAFF AND AMBER TAMBLYN CONFIRMED AS PRESENTERS FOR THE 56TH ANNUAL PRIMETIME EMMY AWARDS ON ABC

Awards Broadcast Live from Los Angeles' Shrine Auditorium, Sunday, September 19

Jason Bateman, Zach Braff and Amber Tamblyn have been confirmed as presenters for the "56th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards." The show will broadcast live from Los Angeles' historic Shrine Auditorium, SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 19 (8:00-11:00 p.m., ET Live; tape delayed in PT) on the ABC Television Network.

Jason Bateman can currently be seen in the Emmy-nominated FOX comedy, "Arrested Development." Bateman established himself as an actor in his early teens with roles in "Little House on the Prairie," "Silver Spoons," and later starring opposite Valerie Harper in "Valerie/Valerie's Family/The Hogan Family." His other television credits include the telefilm "Can You Feel Me Dancing," in which he co-starred with his sister, Justine, as well as "Simon," "Chicago Sons," "George and Leo," "Love Stinks" and "Some of My Best Friends." On the big screen Bateman appeared this summer in the box-office hits "Starsky & Hutch" and "Dodgeball," as well as in last year's "The Sweetest Thing."

Zach Braff can be seen on NBC's critically acclaimed comedy "Scrubs" as fresh-faced medical intern John "J.D." Dorian. Braff recently made his directorial debut at the 2004 Sundance Film Festival with "Garden State," which he also wrote and starred in. His other film credits include "Getting to Know You," Woody Allen's "Manhattan Murder Mystery" and "The Broken Hearts Club." Braff's upcoming projects include writing an adaptation of the children's book Andrew Henry's Meadow for 20th Century Fox and next summer's Disney Animated movie, "Chicken Little," in which he will voice the title character.

Amber Tamblyn has earned her first Emmy nomination for her role as Joan in CBS' drama, "Joan of Arcadia," which has also received its first Emmy nod. Her other television credits include a seven-year stint on "General Hospital," UPN's "The Twilight Zone," as well as guest-starring roles on "Buffy the Vampire Slayer,"" Boston Public," "CSI: Miami" and "Without a Trace." Tamblyn has a burgeoning film career with roles in "The Ring" and the upcoming "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants."

Don Mischer is executive producer of the "56th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards," which are presented by the Academy of Television Art & Sciences.
