WHEN GEENA FINDS OUT D.J. HASN'T BEEN TAKING THEIR DAUGHTER TO CHURCH, IT'S TIME FOR HIM TO THROW A HAIL MARY ON ABC'S 'THE CONNERS'

"The Separation of Church and Dan" - When Geena learns that D.J. hasn't been taking Mary to church while she's been away, she insists they go as a family to uphold her traditional values. To make matters worse, Mary refuses to attend without her cousins Harris and Mark, leaving D.J. in the last situation he wants to be in - at the mercy of Darlene. Meanwhile, Mark's attempt to conduct an unbiased survey on the upcoming election for his school project goes south when Jackie volunteers to help, on "The Conners," THURSDAY, DEC. 27 (10:00-10:30 p.m. EST), on The ABC Television Network, streaming and on demand. "The Conners" stars John Goodman as Dan Conner, Laurie Metcalf as Jackie Harris, Sara Gilbert as Darlene Conner, Lecy Goranson as Becky Conner-Healy, Michael Fishman as D.J. Conner, Emma Kenney as Harris Conner-Healy, Ames McNamara as Mark Conner-Healy, Jayden Rey as Mary Conner and Maya Lynne Robinson as Geena Williams-Conner.

Guest stars include MC Gainey as Group Leader, Paul Wilson as Paulie, James Pickens Jr. as Chuck, Stephen Monroe Taylor as Dwight, Cassandra Relynn as Deaconess and Tahmus Rounds as Bob.

"The Separation of Church and Dan" was written by Sid Youngers and directed by Andy Ackerman.

The series is executive produced by Tom Werner, along with Sara Gilbert, Bruce Helford, Dave Caplan, Bruce Rasmussen and Tony Hernandez. Bruce Helford, Dave Caplan and Bruce Rasmussen are also writers. The series is from Tom Werner and Werner Entertainment.
