"Breaking Chains" - Eddie shows Emery the ropes on his first day of middle school, revealing that he convinced the teachers and staff into believing fake Chinese customs that provide special privileges at school. Meanwhile, Jessica is thoroughly offended when Louis hires a housekeeper to help lighten her load at home, on ABC's "Fresh Off the Boat," airing on TUESDAY, DECEMBER 27 (9:00-9:30 p.m. EST). Inspired by a true story, "Fresh Off the Boat" stars Randall Park as Louis, Constance Wu as Jessica, Hudson Yang as Eddie, Forrest Wheeler as Emery, Ian Chen as Evan, Lucille Soong as Grandma Huang and Chelsey Crisp as Honey.

Guest starring are Brooke Baumer as Mrs. Uveda, Martin Morales as Janitor, Prophet Bolden as Walter, Evan Hannemann as Barefoot Dave, Trevor Larcom as Trent, Dash Williams as Brian, Alison Fernandez as Sharlene, Daniel Cudmore as Bogdan Dragomir, Melanie Hutsell as Mary, Luke Judy as Zack, Kayla Williams as Brittany and DeJean Deterville as PK.

"Breaking Chains" was written by Kourtney Kang and directed by Jude Weng.

"Fresh Off the Boat" was written by Nahnatchka Khan, who also serves as executive producer. Jake Kasdan and Melvin Mar are also executive producers. The series is produced by 20th Century Fox Television.

It is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC's selected HDTV format with 5.1 channel surround sound and carries a TV-PG parental guideline.
