"48 HOURS" INVESTIGATES WHAT HAPPENS IN TWO FAMILIES TORN APART BY MURDER AND THE ROLE CHILDREN PLAY IN GETTING JUSTICE IN A SATURDAY NIGHT DOUBLE FEATURE "FATHER AND SON" - 9:00 PM ET/PT "THE DOCTOR'S DAUGHTER" - 10:00 PM ET/PT

48 HOURS Saturday double feature begins at 9:00 PM ET/PT with the latest update in Susan Spencer and 48 HOURS' investigation into the 2011 death of Uta von Schwedler, who was found in her bathtub by her then-boyfriend. It took six weeks for the autopsy report to be released, which listed the cause of death as drowning. The manner of her death was listed as "undetermined," leaving open the possibility of suicide. Evidence at the scene even suggested von Schwedler might have killed herself.

But her son, Pelle Wall, was convinced his father Johnny Wall killed her and vowed to do whatever he could to get his father convicted. Johnny Wall maintained he had nothing to do with his ex-wife's death. He was arrested and charged in 2013 with killing his wife. He went on trial in February 2015.

Saturday's broadcast of "Father and Son" has the latest twist in a case that 48 HOURS has been covering for four years.

The second part of the double feature gets under way at 10:00 PM ET/PT with an encore of "The Doctor's Daughter," which features Jim Axelrod and 48 HOURS' investigation into the 2012 death of Leslie Neulander and the case against her husband, Dr. Robert Neulander, a prominent obstetrician.

Hearing her father's screams for help, Jenna Neulander dialed 9-1-1 and summoned first responders to her home in suburban Syracuse, NY. She told a dispatcher that her father was trying to help her mother, who was unresponsive in the shower. Dr. Neulander says he began CPR. Then against Jenna's pleas, Dr. Neulander moved her to the couple's bedroom, he says, to more comfortably continue CPR. Leslie was later pronounced dead.

Initially, Leslie Neulander's death was declared an accident; however, investigators didn't totally believe Dr. Robert Neulander's version of events, and wondered why a doctor would go against everything he's been taught and move a gravely injured person nearly 60 feet. Investigators also had questions about the blood at the scene, particularly the blood spatter near the bed. Eighteen months after Leslie Neulander died, her husband was charged with her murder. One of the key witnesses in the case? Their daughter, Jenna.
