STAMFORD, Conn. - Nov. 25, 2014 - NBC continues its holiday tradition this Thursday night with Sunday Night Football on Thanksgiving Night, when Russell Wilson and the defending Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks (7-4) visit Colin Kaepernick and the San Francisco 49ers (7-4) in a pivotal NFC West showdown at 8 p.m. ET. The Seahawks and 49ers are deadlocked in the NFC standings, and battling for playoff positioning with five games remaining in the regular season.

Weekend coverage continues on NBC this Sunday, November 30, when Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos (8-3) travel to Kansas City to face Jamaal Charles and the Chiefs (7-4) on Sunday Night Football. Coverage begins with Football Night In America at 7 p.m. ET on NBC.

Calling Seahawks-49ers and Broncos-Chiefs is seven-time Emmy Award-winner Al Michaels (play-by-play), in his 29th season as the voice of the NFL's premier primetime package; 15-time Emmy Award-winner Cris Collinsworth, who has won the Emmy for Outstanding Event Analyst in each of his five seasons in the Sunday Night Football booth; and two-time Emmy Award-winning sideline reporter Michele Tafoya.

NBC's coverage of Sunday Night Football is led by Emmy Award-winning producer Fred Gaudelli and Emmy Award-winning director Drew Esocoff. Sunday Night Football has won the Emmy Award for Outstanding Live Sports Series for a record six consecutive years.

Football Night In America, the most-watched studio show in sports, is hosted by 26-time Emmy Award-winner Bob Costas, who will report from Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif., on Thanksgiving night. Costas will report from Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Mo., on Sunday night, alongside Collinsworth, Tafoya, two-time Super Bowl winner Hines Ward, and NBC Sports commentator Josh Elliott.

Dan Patrick co-hosts Football Night from NBC Sports Group's Studio 1. On Thursday night, he will be joined by Super Bowl-winning head coach Tony Dungy and two-time Super Bowl winner Rodney Harrison. Patrick, Dungy, and Harrison will also anchor Sunday night's coverage alongside Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk on NBCSN and NBCSports.com, and Peter King of Sports Illustrated. Kathryn Tappen will report from Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wis., on the Patriots-Packers game on Sunday.

SEAHAWKS-49ERS - THANKSGIVING NIGHT AT 8 P.M. ET ON NBC

The Seahawks and 49ers square off on Thanksgiving night on NBC with NFC playoff implications on the line. Both teams boast 7-4 records, following San Francisco's 17-13 win against Washington, and Seattle's 19-3 victory over the NFC West-leading Arizona Cardinals. The 49ers ride a three-game winning streak heading into Thanksgiving night, while the Seahawks have won four of their last five.

Thursday night's game is a rematch of last year's NFC Championship Game, and marks the first meeting between the two teams since Seattle's 23-17 victory to advance to Super Bowl XLVIII. Thursday's matchup features the two top-ranked defenses in the NFL; Seattle has allowed the fewest yards per game in the league (296.8), while San Francisco ranks second in the category (300.1). In addition, the Seahawks lead in the NFL in total rushing offense, averaging 169.6 yards per game on the ground.

Dungy: "It comes down to the defenses and who can stop the other team's running game... does Frank Gore get established, or does Marshawn Lynch get established?"

Harrison on San Francisco: "You have to get Vernon Davis back involved in this offense. Anquan Boldin has been really good, and has made a lot of plays... but I think Vernon Davis is a key because he creates mismatches."

Harrison on Wilson and Kaepernick: "They've both struggled in the red zone. The one thing I like about Russell Wilson (in the red zone), as opposed to Colin Kaepernick, is that he doesn't just stare at one receiver. It seems like Colin Kaepernick has his mind already set on who he wants to go to."

SEAHAWKS QB RUSSELL WILSON, 49ERS HEAD COACH JIM HARBAUGH FEATURED IN THANKSGIVING NIGHT COVERAGE

NBC's coverage of Seahawks-49ers on Thanksgiving night will include features on Jim Harbaugh and Russell Wilson, narrated by Bob Costas. NBC's feature on Harbaugh followed the 49ers head coach on his annual trip to Piura, Peru, where he volunteers his time building homes, helps local farmers with the harvest, and plays "Peru Ball," his hybrid of football and soccer, with children.

Costas will also examine Wilson's relationship with the Seattle Children's Hospital. Wilson, whose father battled diabetes, visits each week with children battling cancer, and has partnered with Seattle Children's Hospital in the Strong Against Cancer initiative.

Wilson on spending time with kids at Seattle Children's Hospital: "It's amazing to see how you can affect people in a positive way. That's the thing that I try to never forget. I believe miracles will happen, and they're happening already."

Wilson: "Every time I come here, I try to change a kid's life. A lot of the time there are some tears, there's some praying, some wishing that everything is going to work out right. Most of the time it does. I just believe that with Strong Against Cancer we can change the world."

MUN2 PRESENTS EXCLUSIVE SPANISH-LANGUAGE TELECAST OF SEAHAWKS-49ERS THANKSGIVING NIGHT GAME

NBCUniversal's Hispanic cable network mun2 presents the exclusive Spanish-language telecast of the NFL's Thanksgiving night game. La NFL en mun2 pre-game show will begin live from Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California, at 8 p.m. ET. Calling the game for mun2 will be play-by-play announcer Rene Giraldo, along with color commentator Edgar Lopez and sideline reporter Vernica Contreras. In addition, throughout the broadcast, several segments will showcase the two teams, the NFL and Thanksgiving tradition.

The Thanksgiving night game is the second of five La NFL en mun2 telecasts this NFL season. mun2 kicked off its coverage in September, broadcasting the Saints-Cowboys Hispanic Heritage Game on September 28 from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. After the Thanksgiving night game, the network will broadcast two NFL playoff games: a Wild Card Playoff on January 3 or 4, 2015 and a Divisional Playoff game on January 10 or 11, 2015. The season culminates on February 1, 2015 - the day mun2 rebrands to become NBC UNIVERSO - and airs the exclusive Spanish-language telecast of Super Bowl XLIX, from Glendale, Arizona.

BRONCOS-CHIEFS - THIS SUNDAY ON NBC'S SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL

The top spot in the AFC West will be up for grabs on Sunday Night Football this week when the Broncos and Chiefs clash in Kansas City. Last week, Peyton Manning threw for 257 yards and four touchdowns in Denver's 39-36 victory over Miami, while Jamaal Charles eclipsed 100 yards of total offense for the fourth time in five games in Kansas City's 24-20 loss at Oakland. Manning leads Denver's second-ranked passing attack into Arrowhead Stadium against a Kansas City defense that has allowed the fewest yards per game in the NFL through the air (198.9).

Dungy: "It's a must-win game for Kansas City. They've got to get things back together. But one thing I like in their favor is that Denver gave up 36 points at home (last week) - that defense still has some issues."

Harrison: "Kansas City will be ready. When I look at Kansas City, the one part of their team I was critical of last year was their secondary. They now have a much-improved secondary, and those pass rushers that can get to the quarterback - I like that matchup."

Dungy: "C.J. Anderson has definitely helped Peyton Manning's mindset. It's not all on him. They've got their running game going, and that will help going into Kansas City... you've got to be balanced to win a Super Bowl.

Harrison: "They better bring their ear plugs, because that is a very loud place to play."
