"DO YOUR "&@#$%* JOB! ON "20/20"

Airing Friday, October 31, on ABC

From a boss accused of putting his employees' lives at risk, to sleeping on the job, "20/20" investigates claims of dereliction of duty in the workplace and its consequences. "Do Your "&@#$%* Job!" airs on "20/20," FRIDAY, OCTOBER 31 (10:01-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

Reports include:

· There may be no boss who commands more power than a movie director. But what happens when the safety of the crew is allegedly ignored all for the sake of getting "the perfect shot?" Deep in the swampland of Georgia, a film crew of 20 gathers to shoot a dream sequence on an old train trestle. After waiting for two freight trains to roar past, the crew is told to setup a hospital bed and cameras on the bridge. But the dream sequence scene soon turns into a nightmare. A third train going 60 miles-an-hour is on them in seconds sending the crew scrambling for their lives. Tragically, 27-year-old camera assistant Sarah Jones doesn't make it off the bridge, killing her instantly and critically wounding three others. Sarah's death shocks the film community and has everyone asking: why was the crew permitted to setup on active tracks? The director, Randall Miller and others are now facing criminal charges for involuntary manslaughter and have pleaded not guilty, but has Miller previously been cavalier about safety during filming? Chris Connelly reports.

· Our lives are literally in their hands. But when a first responder makes a mistake, you could be on your own. Medic Mills, a 77-year-old man in Washington DC, had a heart attack right near a firehouse, but the firefighters refused to help him, and when his daughter called 911, the dispatcher sent the ambulance to a wrong address miles away. Are the stresses of their jobs hurting us? Jim Avila reports.

· So many of us have done it -- caught a few 'zzzs' on the job. Some 21st century companies even offer nap rooms. But make no mistake, falling asleep on the job can still be a career killer -- especially if your catnap is caught on camera. "Shark Tank's" Robert Herjavec, Lori Greiner, and Mark Cuban sound off. Chris Connelly reports.

· There is no greater temptation to misbehave at work than when you have decided to quit. Just ask former Alaska TV reporter Charlo Greene, whose "Good Night and Good Riddance" sayonara rocketed to instant infamy. Greene proudly and unapologetically defends her actions to "20/20."

"20/20" is anchored by Elizabeth Vargas and David Muir. David Sloan is senior executive producer.
