THE ALMOST PERFECT CRIMES On "20/20" Airing Saturday, January 25, 10 pm On ABC

From a meticulously planned bank robbery out of a Hollywood script, to a man who impersonated his dead mother to collect her social security payments, to a father who faked his own death, "20/20 Saturday" reports on almost perfect crimes. Anchored by Barbara Walters, "20/20 SATURDAY" airs on SATURDAY, JANUARY 25 (10:00 - 11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network. Reports include:

· A man's elaborate scheme to bilk hundreds of thousands of dollars from a Bank of America in Seattle could not have been better scripted in Hollywood. The meticulously planned crime was nearly perfect, and a man almost got away with floating down a river with $400,000 on an inflatable inner tube after a brazen broad daylight robbery of an armored truck. But the mastermind missed a critical detail. Anthony Curcio spent the last few years in prison paying for his crime and tells ABC News correspondent Gio Benitez all about it in an exclusive "20/20" interview. The once popular high school football player turned robber takes us on a wild journey into the details of how it all went down. (OAD: 6/21/13)

· For six years, Thomas Parkin implanted a bizarre scheme that involved him impersonating his dead mother, fooling the federal and state governments, banks and the court system to collect on her Social Security payments and committing housing fraud. After his mother's death in 2003, Parkin lied about her birth date and social security number so she was never reported as dead. Authorities say he was even caught on tape wearing a wig and dress at the Department of Motor Vehicles in order to renew her driver's license. Amy Robach talked to Parkin in his first interview since his conviction. (OAD: 6/08/12)

· Raymond Roth went to the beach with his son Jonathan, but only one of them returned. Jonathan told Park Police his father had drowned in the Atlantic, triggering a massive search and rescue effort, and shock and horror for Ray's wife Evana. But days later, Evana's grief turned to rage when she discovered that Ray was alive. Paula Faris reports. (OAD: 1/1/13)
