THE THIRD OF TEN REMAINING COUPLES WILL BE SENT HOME ON "DANCING WITH THE STARS THE RESULTS SHOW," TUESDAY, OCTOBER 5 ON ABC

Multi-Platinum, Three-Time Grammy Winner Ne-Yo Set to Perform the TV Debut of His Newest Single, "One in a Million"

"Episode 1103A" - On this season's third "Dancing with the Stars Results Show," multi-platinum, three-time Grammy Award-winning Def Jam recording artist Ne-Yo will perform. The show will also feature a thrilling string duel between "Dancing with the Stars" pro/guitarist Mark Ballas and violinist/dancer Val Chmerkovskiy, and a third couple will be eliminated from the competition, on "Dancing with the Stars the Results Show," TUESDAY, OCTOBER 5 (9:00-10:01 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.

Set to release his brand new 4th studio album, Libra Scale, November 22 on Def Jam Recordings, Ne-Yo will make his television debut of the album's new single, "One in a Million." Ne-Yo - whose first three studio albums debuted at No. 1 on the Soundscan chart, Year of the Gentleman (2008), Because of You (2007) and In My Own Words (2006) - will continue as a core artist on the roster of Def Jam Recordings. Libra Scale is the much-anticipated follow-up to Ne-Yo's RIAA platinum Year of the Gentleman, which debuted at No. 1 in September 2008. That album spun off a trio of consecutive RIAA platinum hits: "Closer" (No. 1 U.S. Dance, No. 1 UK), "Miss Independent" (No. 1 U.S. R&B, No. 1 UK R&B) and "Mad" (No. 5 U.S. R&B, No. 3 UK R&B). Year of the Gentleman generated a league-leading total of five Grammy nominations in 2009 - with "Miss Independent" winning for Best R&B Song (songwriters award) and Best Male R&B Vocal Performance. Year of the Gentleman followed up Because of You (May 2007), which won the Grammy Award for Best Contemporary R&B Album, and In My Own Words (February 2006) - both No. 1 debuts on the Billboard 200 and R&B Albums charts. Ne-Yo founded The Compound Foundation which is committed to service at-risk and disadvantaged youth. The Compound Foundation sponsors performances, motivational speakers and mentorship opportunities with leaders and business people within the community.

Also featured, "Dancing with the Stars" pro and guitarist Mark Ballas will face off against violinist/dancer Val Chmerkovskiy in an intense string duel performance of Britney Spears' pop hit, "Toxic," accompanied by pro dancers Tanisha Belnap and Lacey Schwimmer.

By evening's end, one couple will be eliminated, as determined by a combination of the judges' scores and viewers' votes on dances performed on Monday's performance show. Who among the following ten teams will be next to leave the ballroom floor?

· BRANDY, actress and singer, and partner MAKSIM CHMERKOVSKIY.
