MEDIA ALERT --- "60 MINUTES" TO FEATURE FIRST INTERVIEWS WITH DUKE PLAYERS SINCE SEXUAL ASSAULT CHARGES AGAINST THEM WERE DROPPED -- SUNDAY ON CBS

Lesley Stahl talks to the three former Duke lacrosse players -- originally accused of raping a stripper at a party -- in their first interviews since learning that all charges against them have been dropped. The exclusive interview with Reade Seligman, Collin Finnerty and David Evans will be broadcast on 60 MINUTES Sunday, April 15 (7:00-8:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

The case became a nexus for issues of sex, race and privilege when it made national headlines last year. The young men, who are white, had been indicted for rape, kidnapping and sexual offense, but rape charges were dropped last December when the accuser, who is black, changed her story. An exhaustive investigation by the late Ed Bradley and his producers, including interviews with the three men and the other stripper at the party, uncovered new evidence and just last week won a Peabody Award. It was broadcast last October. Stahl has interviewed the parents of the former players for a 60 MINUTES report broadcast last January.
