U.S. NAVAL LIEUTENANT ANDY BALDWIN FINDS HIMSELF IN THE MIDDLE OF BATTLING BACHELORETTES, AS THEY COMPETE IN A MINI-TRIATHLON, ON "THE BACHELOR: OFFICER AND A GENTLEMAN," MONDAY, APRIL 9 ON ABC

"Episode 1002" As 15 bachelorettes settle into a mansion in the Hollywood Hills, the fairy tale begins. Andy and his ladies cruise the famous Sunset Strip for an evening full of adventure and glamour, and the ladies race for Andy's heart in a triathlon. Then one lucky bachelorette is singled out to spend a romantic evening aboard the Bachelor's private yacht, on "The Bachelor: Officer and a Gentleman," MONDAY, APRIL 9 (9:30-11:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.

On his first group date, Andy and seven striking ladies take the Sunset Strip by storm with an evening of cocktails and bull riding that ends in the hot tub. Bevin can't handle the competition, becoming irritated, and seethes over perceived slights. Seven other women strip down to bikinis and short-shorts to show Iron Man Andy their athletic side, as they passionately compete in a mini-triathlon, including swimming, biking and running events in Santa Monica. However not all of the ladies are ready to rumble. Susan and Erin exercise their diva muscle and refuse to get their hair wet. The winner scores a romantic stroll on the beach with Andy, as the losers can only look on with envy. Then Stephanie T. heads out for the only one-on-one date with Andy a hot and steamy evening cruise on Andy's luxurious yacht. The other jealous women are left to trash her back at the house, as they await her return.

Back at the mansion, in a surprising and unforgettable cocktail party, the girls go from cheers to tears. At the rose ceremony, Andy must eliminate three of the 15 women, leaving 12 to compete for his affections.
