Rose Bard went to sea on a fishing vessel to change the pace of her life and earn money. Yet her last voyage, which ended when a horrific accident occurred during a storm, still recurs in her nightmares. The ship on which she was working, the Excellence, was a floating factory, processing fish caught by other vessels. In October 2005, it was positioned off the coast of Russia in the Bering Sea when the unthinkable happened - her legs were mangled in a piece of machinery. Fighting for her life - and the life of her unborn baby - Rose had to put her wellbeing in the hands of a brave rescue team. "20/20" has the incredible footage of the daring Coast Guard helicopter rescue from the deck of the ship which was tossing on rough waters hundreds of miles from land. ABC News Correspondent Bob Brown reports on a remarkable story of romance and rescue on the stormy seas, on "20/20," FRIDAY, OCTOBER 13 (10:00-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

And: Many people believe that big companies and lousy customer telephone service go hand-in-hand. But as John Stossel reports, getting ignored by such companies and feeling helpless might just be a thing of the past, thanks to the internet. "20/20" uses video of many examples, including one from last June. A Comcast customer was surprised when the repairman that came to his house to fix his cable service fell asleep on his couch because, when the repairman tried calling Comcast, he spent an hour on hold. So the customer took video and posted it on his blog along with a list of his complaints about Comcast. Within days, this shot around the internet like a rocket, appearing on many video sites. Hundreds of thousands of people watched it, including Comcast executives, who immediately fired the sleeping repairman, sent someone else to fix the modem and revamped its customer service. Ben Popken, who runs consumerist.com, an online site which lists 18 different consumer tips and complaints a day, calls this audio visual consumer revenge, empowering the average person.
