APOLO OHNO & JENNIFER RODRIGUEZ BACK ON TORINO ICE WEDNESDAY ON NBC

"A Great Day for Hockey Fans to Call in Sick"-McGuire

Hockey Fans Dream Come True-Men's Quarterfinals Features Live Coverage of the 8 Best Teams in the World

TORINO, Italy--Feb. 21, 2006--Jennifer Rodriguez, "Miami Ice," and Apolo Ohno return to the ice during NBC's continuing coverage of the Torino Olympics on NBC, USA Network, MSNBC, CNBC, NBC HD and Universal HD. NBC's Wednesday primetime coverage begins at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

Wednesday's cable coverage is a hockey fan's dream: LIVE coverage of the eight best teams in the world in four scintillating match-ups where only the winners will advance to play for a medal.

"This is a great day for hockey fans to call in sick," said Pierre McGuire, lead Olympic hockey reporter. "The pace of the hockey in this tournament has been higher than I've ever seen before. It's been passionate, fast, skilled hockey. Watch out for the American team. Finland is the best possible matchup for them."

In the women's aerials gold medal final, "The most interesting story of this competition is that at least six women will be performing triple flips, which is the most ever in the Olympics as far as doing triple somersaults. Everyone seems to be doing triples ... the difference will be if they don't do their triples clean," said NBC's freestyle skiing analyst Trace Worthington.

In other action alpine skiing's female superstars engage in another snowy gold medal showdown in the slalom, the sport's most technically demanding event.
