GOLDIE HAWN SAYS SHE NEVER CONSIDERED HERSELF BEAUTIFUL BECAUSE SHE WAS A HOMELY TEEN, AND SHE'S GRATEFUL SHE WAS -- "60 MINUTES" SUNDAY

Goldie Hawn is grateful for having been the wallflower at teen dances. Being homely then has made her modest about her looks now she tells Mike Wallace, in a 60 MINUTES profile to be broadcast Sunday, May 1 (7:00-8:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS television Network.

"I was awkward as a young girl. I just didn't feel very attractive," says the Oscar-winning actress. A small bra size played a big role in deflating her confidence. "Boys didn't take me as sort of their�I wasn't the girl with the big hoo-has," she tells Wallace.

And that's a plus, says the blonde actress, who has traded on her comedic sense as much as her sex appeal in her many films. "I think that I'm happy about [the early awkwardness] �because I like that I got an ugly girl's personality," says Hawn. "In other words, a homely girl always has to develop that muscle, and I did. But the good news is that I never considered myself beautiful at all�I still don't."

Hawn sits down with longtime boyfriend Kurt Russell to discuss their life together in Sunday's segment. All four of the couple's children -- Hawn's two, actors Kate and Oliver Hudson, Russell's son, Boston, and Wyatt, the aspiring hockey-player Hawn and Russell had together -- also appear in a rare group interview about their famous parents.

Among the topics discussed: The secret to their 22-year relationship, their first date and the kids' attitudes toward having movie star parents and a mother who often plays the sexpot on screen.
