CELEBRITY SPENDING HABITS - CHRIS CONNELLY REPORTS ON YOUNG CELEBRITIES AND THEIR MONEY, ON "20/20," FRIDAY, MARCH 4 ON ABC

Also: Jim Avila Reports on a Serial Rapist Who Led a Double Life as a Loving Family Man; John Stossel Looks at Colorism in the Black Community

Is a young, hot actor and a large income a dangerous combination? ABC News correspondent Chris Connelly reports on how some of today's hottest young stars spend their money, sometimes on extremely expensive cars, jewelry and houses. Connelly speaks with young celebrities including Melissa Joan Hart and David Gallagher, star of the television series "7th Heaven," about their spending habits, including Gallagher's customized Hummer. "20/20" airs on FRIDAY, MARCH 4 (10:00-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

"20/20" visits Jacob the Jeweler, who owns a jewelry store that caters to the rich and famous, to get a glimpse into what celebrities are buying. Connelly also talks to celebrity business managers to find out how they keep their clients spending wisely and what can happen if they do overspend.

Also: James Perry lived a double life - he was a husband and father living in a family neighborhood in Madison, Wisconsin who, for more than five years, committed dozens of sexual attacks against children and young women. When the man known as the mall rapist was finally caught, investigators found 100 hours of video and hundreds of pictures, some of which were distributed on the internet. Through them, investigators gained unique insight into how this serial rapist operated and why it was so hard to catch the man hiding in plain sight, as well as how vulnerable our children are. For the first time, Perry's wife speaks about living with a serial rapist. "I was living with pure evil, a manipulator, a liar, pure evil. Part of me feels he didn't have one care... And I didn't know," she tells ABC News correspondent Jim Avila. "He was loved by so many people... you just couldn't help but like the guy... he was so smart. He really had so much to offer."

In the exclusive report, 20/20" also speaks with some of the girls who were attacked by Perry, as well as a detective on the case, sex crime expert Maureen Wall. "James Perry and predators like him are becoming more and more common... its mind boggling... I mean, I no sooner get done interviewing a Perry and I'm assigned another one," Wall ways.

And: John Stossel reports on colorism. While many blacks do not discriminate against each other by color, people are sometimes perceived differently based on whether they have light skin or dark skin. "20/20" tested a group of people who were asked to look at photos of faces and then rate how 'smart' they thought the people in the photos were. Mixed in among the 60 photos were pictures of some of the same people, but with the photos altered to look darker. Will that affect whether someone is rated smart? Stossel also talks to several actors who say that they are often type-cast based on being either a light-skinned black or a dark-skinned black.

"20/20" is anchored by Elizabeth Vargas and John Stossel. David Sloan is executive producer.
