Academy Award Winner Roger Ross Williams to Produce and Oversee Documentary Series Based on The New York Times Magazine and Nikole Hannah-Jones' "The 1619 Project"
The series is slated to debut in the U.S. on the premium streaming service Hulu as part of a distribution agreement between Lionsgate and Disney General Entertainment Content's BIPOC Creator Initiative.
